We enjoyed this property and the location.

We ended up staying here after our initial booking was cancelled at short notice. We noticed a 'sold' sign outside the property so think this may not be available for much longer. It was a nice house but the photos made it look better than it was. Much of the decor was tired and could do with some updating. The kitchen was well presented with all the cutlery, cups, glasses that you could want, and all of a good quality. The 2 bedrooms on the top floor were very basic. The twin is in the eaves with skylight windows. There was a wobbly hanging rail and no mirrors or anything to make the room fee homely. The beds were comfy though. The single bedroom didn't have a mirror either so we all had to share with the 2 doubles on the 1st floor or go downstairs to the dining room. There was a bathroom which was nice, although the bath drained very slowly, and we almost ran out of toilet paper after our 2 night stay. A second separate toilet next door was very useful. The welcome pack was very nice, thank you.

We had a brilliant stay at the house. Perfect location, lovely character property. Spotlessly clean and lots of space. Would highly recommwmd this to anyone who wants to enjoy the sights of York. 😁

Great property in a great location. Perfect for a family or large group. Great decor, well presented.

A group of 7 of us visited York to celebrate a birthday. The house was plenty big enough for us all, 2 toilets helped. The rooms were modern and nicely decorated with very comfy beds. We enjoyed the welcome hamper, much appreciated. We were also contacted to let us know we could check in early. Only downside is lack of parking. Carpark near by but quite pricey.

Schöne Unterkunft. Sehr gut gelegen. York Stadtmauer ist schnell zu erreichen. Ausreichend für sechs Personen. Ausstattung in Ordnung,

We had a wonderful stay at 76 Nunnery Lane! It was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. Very comfortable beds, with luxurious bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchen, and powerful shower in the bathroom! This house has been very well renovated, and is in an excellent location for walking into the lovely city center of York and is right across the street from a delightful bakery! Restaurants and a Sainsbury's express are just around the corner. The couple of queries we had during our stay were quickly answered by the Stays York staff, and we were very impressed with our first experience booking with them. The only slight downside to this location is the busy road the house is situated on. It was only an issue on the couple of warm evenings when we wanted to open the windows in the master bedroom, and then the traffic was quite loud, but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the house and our stay :)

Nunnery Lane was the perfect house for our stay, 3 adults and 2 children. Great position & immaculate .
