My family and I rented this house to stay in and to throw a wedding shower in. We had about 30 people attend the party, and it was just the right size space, but there is not seating for that many people available. Most of our younger guests hung out around the kitchen island or found extra seats on the deck and stairs outside. The backyard was beautiful, and the house itself was large, spacious, and very nice. The issues we had were annoying and things I wish I had known. First, communication with the owner was sometimes super fast and great, and sometimes very slow, and once he was pretty rude to me. After I paid an extra fee for the party (through Venmo, at his request), I asked for the house's address for the invitations, but he never gave it to me (my brother was able to figure it out from the listing). I also noticed on the listing a few days before the party that it says the 5th bedroom is available for an extra fee. When I asked him to confirm that we would have access to all 5 bedrooms without paying an additional fee (I booked this house because it advertised 5 bedrooms, which we needed), he responded "Did I ask you to pay a fee?" This felt unnecessarily short and also did not answer my question. He was, however, very patient when my sister needed a lot of questions about the alleged crib answered. We had an infant staying at the house, and the listing advertises that there is a crib. THERE IS NO CRIB at this house. You'll have to bring a pack and play. The kitchen is weirdly lacking in basic supplies. We were trying to prepare food for a party, and there was no can opener, no colander, only one very poor quality sheet pan, and no larger serving dishes. However, there were several nice platters we were able to use. The towels for the house were all folded in the laundry room (on the first floor) when we arrived. I took a shower without realizing there were no towels actually in the bathrooms (other than hand towels), so that was annoying. Additionally, there did not seem to be enough bath towels or kitchen towels for all of us for a two night stay (7 adults). We would have needed to do laundry, but we just re-used towels because we were busy with party prep/partying. Overall, this was a beautiful house that worked really well as a place for my entire family to stay and as a venue for a 30-person wedding shower. I just don't know if we'd stay here again because of the unpleasant experience I had communicating with the owner.

Initially booked a different property, but a Covid outbreak there forced a last minute change to this property. Pleasantly surprised. Clean, livable, adaptable space. Good weekend, helpful property manager.

I brought a party of 13 women to stay here. I was nervous there was not going to be enough space for everyone. The house and location was everything we needed and more! Great outdoor space, kitchen was good, and enough bathrooms for us all to get ready! The air stopped working at one point and Anthony was out that day to fix it for us. Overall awesome experience!

There was plenty of space for our group of 5 couples, comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Nice neighborhood and a short Uber/taxi ride to all the tourist hot spots. Anthony was very nice and accommodating, pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend the home.

Awesome house and great neighborhood! We had a great time!Refrigerator in the kitchen didn’t work and there was no propane for the grill.

My family and extended family really enjoyed this beautiful property. Located in a fun neighborhood with an easy drive ($13 Uber) to city. The outdoor space is an added bonus

I was sad that it rained the weekend we stayed there, as the outdoor areas looked gorgeous as well. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. Anthony was great to work with, and we had no trouble getting into the house. 10/10 would stay here again if we have a larger group of friends going to Chicago.

Great communication, easy check-in and check-out. Our group loved the space, would definitely rent again if ever in the area with a large group.

We loved this hike! Very spacious for our 7 family members who came to Chicago from Boston for a wedding. Light & airy. Anthony was easy to work with. Wish the weather would've been nicer to enjoy the outside deck & yard. Lots of twinkle lights added a festive vibe Definitely would recommend this property if coming to Chicago. And, hopefully, we will be back sometime in the future! Thank you, Anthony.

I had rented this gorgeous 5 bedroom house for a weekend in Chicago during St. Patrick’s day parade. Me and my 8 other friends were super excited to be celebrating in the Windy City! Friday morning rolls around and Anthony calls to tell me the heater has broken - 15 minutes before we caravan to Chicago. He says he’s willing to give us a different place and will refund me the difference since he is unable to find a heater in time for our stay. Things happen, we were lucky we didn’t have to cancel but the other place was half the price and only had 3 bedrooms. I agreed to Anthony’s terms and told him to Venmo me the difference in prices. A week goes by and no money has appeared even though he says VRBO has sent the refund. It’s been 10 days and I have received no communication or seen any intention of him refunding me half the money. He was very friendly on the phone and seemed willing to work with me to get me the money I deserve but after ghosting me and having to escalate to VRBO I have lost faith. I would suggest not booking with this owner to avoid the nightmare I’ve gone through. Was the heater actually broken, or did he just say it was to give us the cheaper place in order to make more money off me? I guess I’ll never know. Don’t make the same mistake I did and book with Anthony Klementzos - it’s not worth the headache. There are plenty of gorgeous 5 bedroom houses in Chicago to stay in.
