Members of my Garden Club stayed here while attending a Flower Expo. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had the most well stocked kitchen I've ever encountered in a rental. The hot tub was an added bonus. During our spring stay we had an unexpected snowfall of about 8 inches so we couldnt enjoy the kayaks and canoes but the lake view was gorgeous. Id love to return here in the summer months. Our host, David, went above and beyond. He was very responsive and accommodating. On Saturday morning he arrived early to plow the snow from the driveway so we could get to the Flower Show. He even started our cars and brushed off all the snow. Thank you again David for such an awesome stay!!

We had a wonderful New Year’s weekend at the Ballston Lake House. David is a very welcoming host - he greeted us, left a welcome gift and was available if we needed him (we didn’t, but it was nice to know). The house is absolutely beautiful - modern kitchen, everything well equipped and well decorated, comfortable beds and most especially a hot, hot tub! The beach and yard looked like they would be great fun in warmer weather. The only thing to note is the listing says 6 bedrooms - the house has 5 actual bedrooms, with the listed 6th being a small den that has a pull out sofa bed. Ballston and Saratoga are great fun of course. Again , really lovely place and we very much enjoyed our stay!!

We had 4 kids with us ranging from 4 to 10, and we all had a lovely time. Fishing, Canoeing, Camp fire, etc. The owner has thought of EVERYTHING you would ever need at a lake house - incredibly thoughtful. I would definitely like to come back. 10 out 10 !!

The Ballston Lake house was perfectly located for the activities we had planned in the Saratoga area. We wish we had another day as we weren't able to take in the numerous possibilities that the property and house had to offer. It is right on the lake and has a considerable sized yard for games, etc. Hope to return in the future.

House was perfect for our needs. House had 5 large bedrooms with enough room to set up pack and plays and kids beds. House was right on the water. We loved kayaking and fishing off the dock. Sunrise over the water was lovely. The location was convenient to Saratoga Race Track, concerts at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and downtown to Saratoga and Ballston Spa Our host David was most gracious and even personally thank us with a gift. I most definitely recommend this property

It was a perfect house for our extended family reunion, with ages ranging from infant to retiree. We spent a lot of time near or in the water, playing or just relaxing. The lakeside vibe was incredibly calm. The layout of the house allowed us to gather in a selection of spaces, plus there were also nooks for quiet conversation. The den off the living room was my favorite. David greeted us when we arrived, walking us through the house, and making us feel like truly welcomed guests. Our typically shy five-year-old even insisted on telling him a story. A wonderful house that enabled my family to be together to play and then to bring home happy memories!

Our family had a great time at the property. We had our elderly mother with us so the one bedroom that was on the first floor worked great for her. We also had a one year old and there was a port-a-crib for her. Fenced in yard was great for the dog and the sandy beach was a treat for the kids. Would definitely stay here again. Grab your sunscreen and bug spray and run (don’t walk) to a beautiful and quiet lake getaway. Our extended family stayed for a long wedding weekend over Memorial Day. House is clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything you need from extra towels, to pack and play, to kitchen appliances and pantry items. Owner, David, is extremely welcoming, responsive, and ensures an easy checkin/checkout for guests. Our 4 kids (ages 8-13) barely used their electronics, opting instead to play on the beach, fish on the dock, and kayak/paddleboard out to the floating raft. Hot tub and fire pit were the icing on the cake. A definite must-stay location! Thank you for a great long-weekend!

we are a group of 6 women who rented the house for a spa weekend in Saratoga. Perfect location, peaceful and quiet with an easy trip into Saratoga. We will be renting here again. David was a great host. The house was exactly as listed.

Let me start by saying we came to Saratoga for travers weekend and almost skipped out on going to the track because we didn’t want to leave the house. It’s that awesome. David is the best host you will ever meet. Very accommodating and just a great dude. He and his sons helped get the house ready so that we could check in a few hours early which was incredibly helpful. His house has all the toys and games you could ever want and is perfect for people of any age. Huge yard, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, Wiffle ball, kanjam, you name it. The beach was perfectly raked out and the weeds were cleared from the swimming areas… the lake is clean and private. Inside the house is nothing fancy, just as a lake house should be - but lots of bed space and a well stocked kitchen. We’re coming back.. who knows how many times.

Nice peaceful spot on a little lake. Quiet neighborhood. Great for families and kids.

David is the most courteous, professional, and accommodating host with whom I've had the pleasure to work. The property was as described, with plenty of goodies in the refrigerator, plenty of hot water for relaxing showers, and plenty of room. Beds are very! comfortable, common areas and bedrooms are very spacious, and outdoor porches and lakefront beach are wonderful, with many toys available for our use. David met me and my friends (a total of five guys in their mid 50s) at check-in and gave us a detailed and friendly tour of the entire house. We quickly reached a unanimous decision that David is an all around great guy! On Day 2 we were pleased to have him join us at the waterfront for a few cocktails and some laughs. Also, he was kind enough to let us extend our Sunday check-out! Thank you, David, for your many courtesies and for giving all five of us a truly memorable Saratoga weekend! You're a total pro!
