I enjoyed the room, clean which is super important to me.

I reserved a room by the pool. When I checked in the guy said he “ upgraded” us to a lake side room. So we had to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool and back. It’s November so it was cold. Wish I would have said something. I will next time for sure.

This is a beautiful hotel right next to the water. Wonderful amenities and breakfast.

Clean, comfy beds, great view of Lake Huron, decent hot breakfast with wide variety. Our biggest complaint is poor climate control. Rooms are long, with heating/cooling unit on one end and bathroom on the other. Since there is no ducted air movement, the heat had to flow across the room through the open bathroom door to keep it warm. Even worse, our heater started to howl and clunk after midnight, so I lost a lot of sleep, making my next day less pleasant. Also, we had to walk quite far along outside hallways during a chilly autumn night to get to our room. Finally, although the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy, the exterior could use a little cosmetic maintenance.

Was an ok hotel that had a nice view but when I was sitting on the balcony all I could smell was other customers smoking their marijuana. The beds were hard. Breakfast location was in an inconvenient location. You had to take outside stairs in the elements to get there. The selection of food for breakfast was good with a few hot items. Overall the stay was just ehh.

Amazing stay. Great breakfast each day.

The room appears to have some upgrades - very nice. The only downside side is the fact that we had no soap or Kleenex in the room.

The room is dated, room was clean. Samore from cleaning staff, did a good job cleaning the room prior to our stay. However, the water from the tub was leaking on to the bathroom floor (not ideal for a bath, you could get by showering if you are not staying for long) and toilet seat was wobbly. The room had a balcony with carpet, which was nice. We have stayed at other hotels in the city, this one was not our favorite.
