What breakfast??? Advertise hot breakfast and then they tell you that’s all closed you get a grab bag which actually isn’t a bag at all it a shelf that has stuff lined up on it and you go thru and pick up but when asked where and how they pointed with no words but attitude!!!

I didn’t like the no locks on the balcony doors and then the bar that you can put across(Johnny bar) the lady at the desk told me just to use that if I didn’t feel Safe and secure except that was broke. Was told I couldn’t leave because I wasn’t getting my money back so they will show a different room! That room was the same way so they came in and installed a new Johnny bar but the door still don’t lock. They were rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them! Never even so much as said they were sorry for the Inconvience! Apparently they are just rude! NEVER! EVER! Will I stay there again!

we had a short getaway planed for our anniversary and ended up sleeping in our car, after changing rooms because of bugs and spiders everywhere in the first… the second one was not any better. we have contacted property owner/management with no response.. I took video but this app will only let me load them the only picture I have doesn’t look bad at all but these were lining the ceiling… in both rooms.. hundreds of webs and spiders n bugs

Breakfast was coffee or bottled water-no hot tea. Choices were an apple & a small breakfast bar. That was it. This was set up on a counter in the window of the lobby.

Key still did not work after 3 times waiting in line and asking. Bathroom ceiling tiles falling down & bathroom light/fan roared like a freight train. Tv did not work. Air conditioning quit middle of night. Had to walk next door for pool. Rooms were not on beachfront. Very strong smell of bleach when we arrived-had to leave door open & window.

there was no breakfast but it was included in the payment even before we checked in the recep gave us a voucher saying buy one free breakfast not happened i ended paying 56$ for my husband and mine breakfast free was waffle and pancake frustrating

in booking it specifically said front lake view iam avoiding the courtside rooms but the recep was not pleasant to talk to she said we have to add payment 30 per nite ended up in court side wc room i really hate and prob w trolley we were outside waiting till 6pm no trolley came gave us the run around sayin we were not there on time but we are there 5: 20 pm till 6pm sadly i called the trolley office they never reserve us 2 seats and that there was no passenger to be picked up in quality inn they forgot bz to i dont know i asked them they denied

The sheets were clean.

The first room smelled of urine, the bathroom floor was ripped up all along the tub, and the room smelled of mold. I asked for a different room. The second room smelled of mold. Room had dirty carpet, dust, and dirt on chair and tables. The heater/air condition unit broke down the morning we left. Sprayed Lyson cleaner on bed, pillows, cloth chairs, lamp shade and bathroom each time we came into the room. The pool was broken. The on line picture was nothing like the room I stayed, We were out all day so did not bother to go to a different hotel. Will not ever stay in this place. Will never recommend this place to anyone friend or enemy.

Shower is great.if u are 5ft tall or under. If u are over 6ft good luck..shower head is.small. free breakfast is a joke....7-9 apples water and granola bars. Pool was.closed due to repairs which does.not say that on website. We got to.use another hotel.

The rooms were extremely dated. The shower was very, very short and there wasn’t a plug for the bathtub. ***It was advertised as “Breakfast Included” but there wasn’t a breakfast. The front desk said it would be a “grab n’ go” breakfast but in the morning there wasn’t even a grab n’ go breakfast. Just water and coffee.

attendant rude; parking awful; room smelled bad entire stay; mold all around bathroom by walls and tub; breakfast was a hot bottle of water and a red apple that was still green looking and a Chewy granola bar—not a Breakfast Included that I have ever had before; the room where the breakfast was served was disgusting and no place I would sit; staff at front desk upon checking out would not provide me with a paper receipt—I have never ever been denied a paper receipt from a place I have stayed; I will never stay at another Quality Inn anywhere because of the conditions of this establishment and the rudeness of the staff.

dingy smell, extremely short/low shower head, uncomfortable bed, expensive for what you get, virtually no breakfast, shared balcony is weird, bathroom lights half working, some missing.

we booked the quality inn because it is reliably clean and advertised that it included breakfast.

the pool was closed, and there was no breakfast and not even an apology or acknowledgement they had advertised free breakfast, what is going on in Mackinaw? the hotels all have new knotty pine paneling, they’re clean, but big H hospitality had been thrown down the toilet. we won’t go back to this place ever again. I wish I had taken photos of the signs of breakfast facility and pool closed! the Mackinaw Chamber of Commerce should be put on alert about what’s going on, because all the folks I spoke with at the local restaurants were dismayed by this surprise if lack of concern over the bait and switch of these managers

There was no breakfast just stay Apple and energy bar the room was musty and we went to the office and the lady said she would give us another room but it was right next to our musty room so my wife asked for a sanitize spray bottle room smell very bad

The motel block should have been remodeled very outdated

The location of hotel is the best.

The carpets very old and not clean. The website of hotel says: The breakfast is included with price. But the office says “we don’t have breakfast only we have one or two types of frites and coffee as will. You can go some restaurants and you’ll get 10% off”. 🥺😭

The staff was rude, not helpful, like we were bother them. The room was awful, wallpaper peeling, splatters on wall, tub dirty, carpet was dirty, and wires on the ground sticking up. No pool, no breakfast, terrible maintenance on outside, not a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was a lie. There wasn’t one. I even called days prior and got told there’d be nice free breakfast served with the price. And there pictures on website show nice bfast and area. But the food area was shut down and trashed. All lies. And only thing they gave us was Walmart bottle water. Bad apple and granola bar. Plus when I called there was a indoor pool. But when we arrived we got gold pools shut down. We were so disappointed again. And we went to go look. It’s trashed. The whole hotel is truely needing to be shut down. The stairs to our 2nd floor room were so rickity we didn’t trust but 1 person to go up them at a time. We stayed here 20years ago and then it was so nice. Now never again. Truely dissapointed beyond. And so was everyone else at hotel. We all talked in parking lot and everyone was so upset and mad at the bfast and lies they told us all about this hotel.
