My second stay in this hotel because of its convenient location. Not as likeable as my previous stay as it was crowded during my stay. The room was not sound proof and it was extremely noisy at night when the group staying around me started chatting across the hallz

Very good location with reasonable price. It is in the nucleus of all transport systems in HK which is so modern and efficient. Star Ferry to HK Central and Wanchai, TST MRT station at door step which links to the East Rail Line to Shenzhen, bus general station also at door step etc etc etc. I better stop, otherwise they will raise the price. 😂😂😂

Very nice hotel, it was very clean and the room was excellent. They gave me an harbor view room, the room size was large and it was walkable distance to a lot of restaurants and near the beach.

One of a friendly staff suddenly came to our room and celebrated for my partner's birthday!! He was so pleased about this situation.<3 Thanks alooot!! And also we really enjoyed the beautiful landscape from our room windows. We hope to stay here in our next journey as well.

I've stayed here several times over the years and always had great experiences. Can't beat the location and can't beat the price.

It is pretty central to everything

Good in service, clean and has a good location.

The room was quite well arranged and clean and the staff always helped me in a friendly way. One advice for future visitors is about the elevator - when check-out time is approaching, elevator will be full of guests downing to the ground floor and almost unavailable for those on lower floors. In such case, I recommend you first go up to the highest floor and go back to the ground floor, though this may not be very polite way of using it.

Great location great hotel. Only flaw is that hot water machine in room didn’t work.

The location was great! Totally enjoyed our overnight here. Personel were also nice and professional.

The property was comfortable and attractive. There was a sense of peace and quietness that was much appreciated after being out in the noise and confusion of Hong Kong.

Wonderful hotel in Kowloon close to ferries and the bus terminal. Subway access is also beside the hotel. Rooms are spacious, very clean and well appointed. Guest laundry was a bonus as was the small gym and 25 m pool. Breakfast buffet was great value. All in all this a great value for money operation.

Great location, friendly and always helpful staff, good air conditioning… the list goes on. I just love staying here!

Location location location!

First off, I transferred to a more expensive hotel two hotels down and I regret not staying at the YMCA. Why? For the fraction of the cost, you get excellent 5 star service. Anthony the night front desk person, was extremely helpful and professional. He told me to go to Mak’s noodle as I was so tired and hungry. It was great! The young guy at the concierge also gave me a great suggestion on where to buy a suitcase, and he was super polite. Swimming laps was amazing after a long day. Quiet room and get the harbor view. It’s stunning! I’m paying double per night for paper thin walls and no view now. The only difference is my current hotel has a way better breakfast buffet. But it’s not worth it. I’ve stayed at The Plaza hotel in Seoul and the Waldorf but you only are paying for the brand and a snobbier atmosphere. I highly recommend the YMCA Salisbury. Location location location! Oh and walk next door to the Penninsula for high tea. Worth it.

The hotel is at an excellent location. We like being able to walk to the shopping malls like the Habour City and K11, and being able to travel to places like Disneyland HK, Ocean Park, Hong Kong International Airport and other places we care about within 30 minutes by cars. The habour view suite we stayed in has a great view overlooking the victoria harbour. We were on a long trip so we also appreciate the on site token operated washer-dryer - we could pay for the tokens from front-desk using credit card. It saved us so much trouble doing laundry. It is so convenient and affordable. The only complain we have is that the sofa bed is right next to the hotel room door and the hotel room door is right next to the elevator. The elevator door sound was pretty loud and woke some of us who slept on the sofa bed up in the morning.

The stay was comfortable and easy.

I need of major refurbishment, damp patches all over own room ceiling including cracked and damaged plaster. Wallpaper was 2 different colours on the same wall, obviously some had been replaced but not all off it, stains all over carpet and doors all damaged. Paid for the harbour view suite and the noise from the lift outside was unbearable. Definitely not a 5* star hotel, only location saves it.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Check in process was very quick.
