The power was out they kept saying it would come back on but it never did. It was cold so ended up leaving n going home my kids didn't get to use the water park they were very disappointed. Yes I know its not there fault the power went out but they did nothing to help make up for the disappointing night we had.

Used q-tip on floor, had to drive down the road to another hotel to check in and use pool services. The two women were friendly. They should just close down for the winter

Loved the size of our room, it was also comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the hot tub and waterpark too.

Check-in was not available until 5 PM. Staff was not very courteous, and waterpark was Open to Day passes. Very crowded, I did not see anyone monitoring the waterpark. We did see one child actually soil his pants with feces running into the pool. When I brought it to management attention, they refused to refund money, and I did not see any follow up.

Ended up having 2 kids get sick on the trip up running 102 fever. Get to the hotel and let them know and they didn't care. We ended up just eating the reservation not to get other sick. Hotels.com even tried to contact them and explained the situation and they still didn't care. Get home both tested positive for COVID. I guess I did the right thing unlike the hotel!

Rooms were not ready. Too many cigarette butts all over.

My kids had a decent time at the water park, which was our reason for staying here. The room was musty and the beds were super uncomfortable. No breakfast, which was listed at booking. The front porch “balcony” area was full of leaves and had some cigarette butts.

Poor customer service not friendly at all at front desk checking in the maintenance man was very nice however it took 2 hours for him to come fix our clogged toilet

Where do I start… no towels in our room I mean none. The front desk staff was rude. There was trash everywhere all over the property. No hot water in the shower.

Drive 5 hours to take grandkids to the waterpark got there Friday for two nights for 1000 dollars for 3rooms and they forgot to turn heaters on in the pools and hot tub . Couldn’t even use the water park it was ICE COLD . My daughter also got locked inside of her room and could not get out. They were unapologetic and offered no comps . There were also no lights on in the stairwells to the water park had to use flashlights on cellphones

We had to go to another hotel to check in. There was no lights on in the hallway, scary! No way to turn heat up.

The water park was the only thing we really enjoyed about the stay but even then the pools were dirty. A lot of it looked like it’s been under some type of construction and apparently it’s been like that for at least a year. The paint was peeling off the walls in our room. The lights stopped working in the room and hallways. Really dusty and had a really bad chlorine smell even in our 4th floor room. Carpet was ripped up, handles missing from drawers. The place really needs to be updated and cleaned. The lady at the front desk was ok, nice at times but then snippy when I’d ask a question. There was a breakfast room but no breakfast was served. Chairs stacked up and everything g covered in dust. Just coffee in the lobby. The arcade half the games just ate our coins. Never staying here again.

Got a room with a broken latch on the balcony door that wouldn't stay shut, as well as a busted out screen just hanging off the frame. I'm traveling with my small children and that's not safe at all. Staff didn't take it seriously at all, eventually sent me to a different room through an unfinished renovation area behind DO NOT ENTER tape. And the new room had a floor level window that ALSO had broken latches and would not stay closed. The whole place was busted and run down and unsafe, and I left without staying. I explained all of this to the hotel and Expedia, and the hotel staff lied to Expedia and are charging me for the full stay.

The waterpark includes the indoor pool so we couldn't swim until 2:00 pm; our grandkids were super unhappy about that. Breakfast is also no longer included. We will choose to stay at a different hotel next time we are in town.

Place very nice, clean, end of season so a lot in the area not open, but when i go back insummer i will repeat visit

We had requested an easy to access room due to mobility issues at the time we made the reservation. When we arrived, they were unable to accommodate it and in order to avoid a room that didnt require an elderly man with CP to go up a flight up steps we were required to pay to upgrade the rooms. Plus the shower didn't work and there' was no breakfast.

Check in at hotel next door. Only way to room was flight of steps after riding elevator 3 flights. No breakfast or coffee. Slash park is indoor smelly water thing good for toddlers and small children.

We had a great time. They told our friends we were traveling with that they had continental breakfast and they do not. Our kids were disappointed that they weren't able to swim before we had to leave because the indoor pool didn't open until 2pm, but otherwise it was fine.

Honestly the worst stay of my life. We walked in and the room reeked of bleach and pee. Went to take a shower and found a mouse with the tub covered in mouse poop. Ran to the front desk to tell them and they seemed un-bothered. Waited to speak to a manager and they said there was nothing they could do and to call corporate. We even had photos and videos- still nothing. Called corporate & they said “best we can do is a free night stay in any of our properties on mackinaw” AS IF I want to stay at any other of your establishments. Your customer service is horrific and the fact that they tried to say it was our fault that a mouse was in there was the last straw for me. (It was a ground floor room- and they said “if you open the door things get in”… we opened the door to enter and leave. Unacceptable.) Never stay here.

This property was very dirty. Food and trash in the hallways. Had friends stay in a different room at the same property and there was a mouse in the shower. Staff said nothing they could do about the situation. I stayed on the 4th floor but elevator only went to the 3rd floor so very inconvenient. Will never stay at this property or any chain of this property. Extemely disappointed

I was overall disappointed in our stay at Crown Hotel. I should have known when we walked in tje lobby it was dirty and there were boxes everywhere. Our room was very dirty. You could see the dust along the edges of the carpet where it hadnt been vacuumed in who knows how long. The bedding felt damp and the bathroom had a piece of trim missing where there was a ton of bugs. The toilet barely worked and we had to go get a plunger for everytime we flushed . Room cleaning didnt replensih towels or clean, or give us toiet paper, yet my sons phone charger waa stolen from our room. I paid extra for a lakefront room and it wasnt evem on the lake .

The room we were put in was accesible through an elevator ride, then down one cooridor, through a breakfast room they do not use, and then up a flight of stairs. The room was tiny and the smell was rancid. The waterpark smelled like feces the first night and did not go back after that. The room was small, smelled funny and the tub backed up after 5 minutes in the show your feet were wet. When trying to discuss and get towels our hotels lobby was closed and we had to walk to a different hotel to be greeted by a hostess that was not thrilled to be helping customers. The elevator smelled like feet but the other option to get up to our room was a hot walk up 4 flights of spider covered stairs right next to the water park. Do not recommend
