The hotel just feels tired. The overall feeling of service just does not fit the price. That is what was most disappointing, but coming from Europe the US professionalism and level of the staff just cannot match. I also did not like the lobby, it just feels cramped and tired, I could have been anywhere, the whole hotel felt more like a business hotel rather than anything Luxury. I don’t think it was anybody’s fault, the staff are all incredibly nice and kind, helpful, and I did not have any issues, I just would never go back for that price. It was not worth it sadly

the experience was fantastic from the minute we walked in the door. The spa services was amazing, the staff was attentive, very clean hotel, bedroom ,big bathroom.
we loved our stay, the gym was clean, emasculate, nice and moderate size and a nice movement separate gym.

Growing up all you ever hear is comparison to the Ritz how it’s the best and the fanciest. The crem de la crem allegedly. The staff was amazing, Thomas the concierge was amazing helped up plan our day and treated us amazing. The room however was lackluster the view of Central Park was nice, however the mold in the shower team with poorly cleaned room with thick layers of dust on doors and phones etc teamed with a rock hard bed that was not comfortable my disappointed was immeasurable. This is supposed to be the absolute best and it was no where near Espically for the price would considered many others before going back.

For our annual January return to NYC we opted to stay at the Ritz Carlton Central Park and were delighted it was as nice/quality and elegant as it has been for a past stay. It is our first choice for the future.

The staff are super nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, bed lovely and I loved having a tub. The room was very well equipped with wine and champagne glasses and a very well stocked fridge with drinks and snacks. The room had a steamer for your clothes too and bathrobes. The only thing missing is an ice machine on the floor, so you have to order ice and have it delivered. And a big bummer is no coffee machine in the room. Which is disappointing. But you can go down and get coffee in the lobby in the morning. Which is not great of course. Especially if you are working in the room most of the day. As my husband was. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Hotel doormen were more interested in their phones than they were with the guests. Constantly paying more attention to themselves rather than assisting guests with doors and luggage. Hotel lobby bar staff place our order incorrectly twice and check in never bothered to notify us our room was ready. Great location, disappointing staff, not worth the value for the money.

Really enjoyed our stay, especially the location which is directly across the street from Central Park. We had a beautiful of the park each morning. Convenient to so much. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful property and a true five star. We stayed 4 nights and couldn’t have been happier. The park view room on the 7th floor had wonderful views of the park. The bathroom was fantastic and no “brown” water as stated in other reviews. No iron in the room is not an issue. We requested an iron and had it in less than 5 minutes. The doormen were friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff did a great job. The area has every restaurant, shopping, subway, etc. you could want. We come to NYC several times a year and this was one of the best!

The check-in 4:00 PM time was not honored, the room was not ready. Staff provided an upgrade and was very courteous which definitely helped.

most of the staff was excellent. the only exception being the table attendants in the restaurant downstairs. they got various details of our order wrong several times. the room while small was well equipped and pleasant. the front desk was very accommodating and professional

This is a poorly managed property. There is no coffee machine in the room and they only serve coffee in the lobby till 8am. They close the var by 11:45pm and if you are not done by 12am they start closing the curtains and start vacuuming.
