BEWARE!! Staff are rude and not accommodating at all. The shower in the bathroom isn’t feasible for anyone, right on top of the toilet and you can’t properly open the doors to get it. There is absolutely NO ROOM to shower. NO AC, awfully hot in room and when you open the windows you can’t sleep at night because of the extreme noise level from all the restaurants and bars. People screaming and singing in the alleys all night long. This place is a dump and not worth the money, SKIP THIS PLACE!!!

Limited checkin hours that are not listed on Expedia/their website. I understand that everyone is short staffed right now, but we had to wait an hour after checkin started to be helped. Once the front desk associate arrived, he was extremely helpful and kind. Coffee machine in the room didn’t work, but only stayed one day so we didn’t say anything until checkout. Excellent location!

Very noisy area. Don’t expect anyone at desk between noon & 2 for check in. They go to lunch.
Also reminder this is an old building with no A/C. Italian Restaurant was very good

We had a great stay! The location made it very easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The area around the hotel has a lot to do, but the rooms are very quiet when the windows are closed. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was fairly clean and close to many amenities and the bridge. The restaurantws nearby were mostly good and the grocery stores were convenient for quick breads and cheeses, drinks, etc.
The room was a bit small but fairly clean and adequate. The Li Tai Pei restaurant next to it had the best chinese food we've EVER had! Amazing and Surprising!

The property is ideally situated in Old Town Lucerne close to the beautiful river, great restaurants and shopping. An easy walk from the train station and in a very clean and safe area. We extended our stay and it will be our first choice when we return.

However the room we were in had steps up to toilet made of the same colour wood as the room floor making it rather dangerous to get down in the night. I missed the last step twice & fell. Luckily only my toes were a little injured. Putting safety strips at the edge of the steps would certainly help guests to differentiate steps & floor

We loved the location and were able to walk to the train station, and the bus stops as well as many restaurants and local activities. We enjoyed the included breakfast, the on-site restaurant,and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again.

We stayed in the superior double room and it was excellent. Big room with plenty of space all amenities worked well and the location is probably one of the best in town, virtually on the river front.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right in the middle of Lucerne. it is perfect if you do not have a car and are using public transportation as it is only a seven-minute walk to the train station. My room was small but very clean and very modern. Many good restaurants including the hotels restaurant nearby.

The hotel is in a fantastic position, centrally located a short walk to everything in Lucerne. It is modern and clean with lots of cafes and shops nearby, just be aware it is noisy at night.

Great location, in old town. Transport around the city was good. Try the ferry to Brunnen and get off at Weggis for coffee, a 2 hours trip each way.

Great location if you want to be near the action of Old Town. However, with no air conditioning, and leaving the windows open (still very warm), the street noise at times is very loud. Not a good night’s sleep. After the first uncomfortable night, we wanted to move but had already paid for 3 nights. The receptionist said she wasn’t authorized to approve a refund and there was no manager on duty on the weekend and no one she could even call. That’s not acceptable. We were forced to stay 2 more uncomfortable nights. Too expensive to risk not getting a refund.

The riverfront. Breakfast is awesome and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant is amazing. We had pizza twice their for dinner and the pizza is terrific. It was perfect.

good location, but very noisy and terrible maid service. we kept having to ask for things like extra toilet paper and replacement for the tissues. one day there was no maid service at all. the bathroom was so small that it was difficult to use. the room was reasonably big, but no where to put things. breakfast was good. would not stay there again.

Great location and nice room. Our bed was comfortable. We did get a room close to the street, so there was quite a bit of noise. We were exhausted, though, so slept right through it.

The room was very small and suffocatingly hot. There was a small air conditioning unit in the room and I discovered it was broken and was pumping out hot air into the room. I complained and was given another room. This was better, but still very small and suffocatingly hot. There was no air conditioning at all in the second room. A problem for sure in hot weather. On the positive side the pizza restaurant was excellent.

As the hotel is in a pedestrian zone we initially battled to find the hotel but once we were there the staff advised us of where to drop off luggage and the best places to park our vehicle. The room was a little on the small side but very nice. There wasn't really a view out the window we just looked onto a building next door. The breakfast was good with quite a variety of meets and cheeses to choose from as well as pastries etc. We were very close to all the sights with only a minutes walk to the chapel bridge which was great. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant which was really good and excellent staff.
