I arrived at the hotel before check-in time. The staff who greeted me offered breakfast and then said that i could have free early check-in to the room. That was very good.
There is also a cheaper taxi service from outside at the reception. I booked taxi from the hotel and paid less than we paid on the way from the airport to the hotel. Thank you for your services.

Friendly staff Good value.
Great location. Walking distance to most major sites in Sultanahmet.

Location is excellent - 5 minutes walking from the Hagia Sofia and other historic places. But this location spoiled the owner of the hotel and they stopped repair the rooms. Toilet was leaking and had a smell of sewerage. We complained about it, but instead of fixing the pipe, they just put the towel in the dark yellow puddle behind the lavatory pan. The room was very small - no place for luggage.

I made a booking here via Expedia and for Istanbul Inn Hotel. We arrived at 7am in the morning to leave our luggages and come back later during the check in time. The staff was able to locate our booking on his hotel admin system. However when we came back at about 2pm, we were told the hotel was full and that they had another hotel for us for the same price. We thought it would be of similar standard. However, it was not. We were moved to Luxx Boutique Hotel (you can find this hotel on expedia, it has horrible ratings). We thought it would be alright but it wasnt. From the room we could hear the lift moving. We could also hear the neighbours next door. The walls and door are not soundproofed well. The hot water supply is intermittent. Please note that Istanbul Inn Hotel has also changed its name to Luxx Boutique Hotel. So there are two locations now. We initially could not find Istanbul Inn Hotel and walked the street several times looking for the name. We only found it via its unit number 10.

all things were bad except the staff there are so friendly.

It was a bit uncomfortable because they decided to assign the room I booked to someone else. So they moved me to another neighboring hotel, I guess from same owner/chain. All this in the middle of the night after a exhausting long flight - I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 am. Besides this, the guy in the reception didnt speak english, thus it was also frustrating.

The hotel staff Naif, Aysegul and Huseyn are very friendly, helpful, and to any time they will be for the guest there. The Location of the Hotel is perfect direct behind Aya Sofia, Basilica, Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet square. The next time in Istanbul again at the same hotel.

When its your first time in a new place you hope for the best and hope the hotel you chose based on the reviews and pictures that you made the right choice. The location was amazing. The room was a nice size, and clean. The staff were super friendly and were always available to help us out, and the breakfast they served was amazing. The staff (especially Celal) were extremely helpful.

The Istanbul Inn is exactly what it says it is : a budget hotel in one of the most visited tourist locations anywhere. Indeed, the location is hard to beat. 5 minutes walk to Haghia Sofia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi, another minute to the Blue Mosque and about 10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. There are umpteen restaurants and cafeterias all around, small convenience stores and the two tramway stops are just 5 to 7 minutes walk. The hotel therefore is perfectly suited for those who want an affordable base for exploring this fantastic history. The rooms are tiny (150sqft max) and could probably have been designed better. But everything works. The bed is extremely comfortable and wifi strong right through. The breakfast is nothing spectacular but the eggs, bread and coffee will see you through Most importantly, the front office staff, led by the general manager Celal are very friendly and go out of their way to help their guests. That makes all the difference when you're in need for local support. I needed that for organising a birthday cake and flowers and even a short - fortunately unnecessary - hospital trip late at night. So if you are looking for a budget hotel in a safe location that is steps away from history, the Istanbul Inn should be on your shortlist.

Just in Istanbul for a few days, and wanted a small place in the middle of the Sultanhemet area. While the rooms showed a bit of wear, they were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the location was perfect: 1 1/2 blocks from the Aya Sophia / Blue Mosque / Hippodrome / Underground Cistern. Id definitely stay there again.

My wife selected this hotel because of its location which was very good, but the hotel itself was a dissapointment. The air conditioning unit wasnt cold enough and then it was too cold. TV was terrible. Bathroom was extra-tiny, I literally dropped something and had to open the bathroom door to pick it up. Look for a hotel in this area which is great, but stay here only if you have no other option.

Excellent staff! Very helpful, willing, accommodating and very friendly, polite and pleasant. Good breakfast, clean rooms, location very central to all tourist sites. Great service , great choice of hotel to stay for the price!

Ok hotel for the price . I think you are just paying higher compared to other hotels in istanbul because it is in sultanahmet area. Price to performance is way off . Too cramped for the price you are paying . I stayed for 1 night in taksim area near istiklal street and i regretted i stayed at this hotel for the price i payed. I'll stay here only if it is my first time in istanbul and will only stay for a night or two, otherwise i'll choose other hotels.

This hotel is small but nice, conveniently located in the heart of Sutanahmet, just less than 5mins walk to Sophia and Blue Mosque. My room (301) is tiny but very cozy. It has a window that looks over the street but it's very quiet at night. Bed is comfortable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts don't have a lot of selection but are plenty and I enjoyed it. I came to run the marathon and the kitchen was so nice to prepare a breakfast for me early on my race day. The only reason I put the "hotel facilities, condition" 4 out of 5 is because the internet was unstable. I had to call and ask them to reset the modem all the time, sometimes they disconnected the cable leading to my floor. They didn't explain why and I need the internet constantly to get my remote office setup. Other than that, I think I definitely recommend this place for everyone. Overall, good experience.

My wife and I traveled to Turkey for 15 days. We stayed in different throughout our trip, and this hotels was our favorite as far as staff friendliness, closeness to site, and the ability to walk around late at nights for a walk to see sites when the tourist had gone to sleep. The rooms were clean. I had booked my stay there for 2 nights and extended to 4 nights after our first night stay there. Would highly suggested to anyone.

We LOVED our stay at the Istanbul Inn Hotel! We had already been to 2 other hotels in different parts of Turkey and the Istanbul Inn was a great way to finish up our vacation. Celal and the other staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. I've seen others comment on the small size of the rooms. The room is a bit small but we honestly were so tired by the end of a day of sight seeing that we didn't notice. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Celal gave us a map and pointed out interests nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend it to any of our friends or family. Thank you, Celal, and staff for a wonderful visit to Istanbul!!
