The service was excellent and the team were incredibly helpful and always followed up. Gardens and landscaping amazing and heated pool area a real bonus. Beach area needed to be cleaned as plastic bottles, garbage and construction waste dotted along the front of the hotel beach area.

Was OK. Service, at a 5-start level, was lacking. Only one staff - Cedric - went out of his way to be of service. Not sure I’d spend the money again.

The hotel was lovely. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and was in great shape. The pools were nice and surprisingly uncrowded for the size of the resort and the number of guests we saw. The family/shaded pool does need a little TLC (missing tiles, some overgrown areas), but it did not take away from an overall pleasing poolside experience. The staff were courteous and prompt to help, but not all spoke English. With phone translation and basic Chinese it all worked well. The spa was incredible and we went twice during our four night stay. The least impressive aspect of the stay was the food. Overall it was quite overpriced for the quality received. I know that hotels have high food prices and I expected it, but then I also expect commensurate quality. This did not really happen and we ordered takeout once we knew we could do that instead. The beachside buffet and the breakfast were the exception to this; both were lovely. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.

Spent three nights here to take in Yalong Bay. Resort is quite well appointed and it turns out we had some luck as the central pool was just reopened from a refurbishment as we arrived. The pool in question didn’t feel overcrowded even if the attached bar was treated as something of an afterthought. Breakfast was good if a little hectic at peak hours. Did western food at the Driftwood restaurant for a couple nights, and found it quite well executed comparatively. Went with the Oceanview balcony room which turned out to be a better option than the ground poolside one we had considered. Overall quite a nice little getaway!

My husband and I had an amazing experience during our 3 day vacation. The service was outstanding and we enjoyed our time at both the beach and pool areas. The food was overpriced but tasted good.

There were several hotels to choose from and we decided on The St Regis because of the butler service. Hotel in general can be updated but the overall service by the staff was excellent. Notable mention was our butler, Cecilia Ma, who was quite attentive and responsive. Her English was quite good as well as my Mandarin was sub par and we communicated in English which was super helpful. Another staff worth mentioning was Joel Zhou from Concierge who was quite helpful as well.

I have stayed in St.regis for four days three nights with my friends. Staying in this hotel you can definitely not going to anywhere but enjoying the nice beach and swimming pool in st.regis !! Rooms are nice ,facilities are good and people are friendly ! You can definitely just chill with friends in your own room balcony for the whole afternoon !
What’s more, warm welcome from front desk manager Fiona:) She has given us different suggestions where to eat and go ,a warm-hearted person! Lisa from house keeping is also a very helpful girl! We had some problems in bathing room for the second day, and she helped us to solved it immediately, thank you so much! Lastly, we appreciated for the Butler Service, Dana is a smart and helpful girl which helping us every small details within our stays. Even helping us out of her working hours, we thank you from the bottom of our heart! We wish to see you in Hong Kong next time ! We will be back for our next Sanya trip in future !!

Also, the promised two queen beds turned out to be only two double beds which is very disappointing.

Really nice experience. Amazing staff. Good butler service, our butler Connie Chen has always been very friendly, helpful and responsible, really appreciate her assistant and personalised service thoughout the whole trip. Cozy and relaxing environment with amazing seaview. Definitely want to stay here again in the near future!

Check in service was bad as we were left unattended even though we were the only 2 rooms checking in around 9pm plus. Difficult to have food as all restaurant in the resort close by 10pm & last order at 9.30pm. The only choice is room service as there is no nearby restaurant. We book a car & driver from the hotel to go for a local seaside village for seafood. The journey to the place was supposed for half hour but the driver was lost & we travel for 2 hours into outskirts village & he cant seems to be able to find back the route to highway to go back hotel. At the end we spend 3 hours inside the car without having any meals or dinner from 6.30-9.30pm. A very disappointing experience. Overall the service staff service is average only as you can tell they are inexperience & not well trained. The buffet breakfast food is too local instead of the international buffet spread & the restaurant is so noisy & pack with the locals like a market. The buffet spread of food never change for the 4 days we were there. A real dissapointment as this is my first st regis experience which I m so looking forward.

Amazing stay, the hotel was above all expectations –the room, the bech, the pools, the great service. all made it relaxing and pampering vacation. Friendly staff, all glad to help, smiling and kind. Bikendi was the a great help in overcoming all language barriers and upgraded our stay even more. Food was excellent in all restaurants but breakfast and dinner in driftwood were exceptional. We were extremely happy with Choosing Sanya and especially St. Regis there.

The hotel condition is excellent but the service is very very inefficient. We arrived at 2pm to check in but the room was ready at 4pm. We ordered a tea set in lounge which is not worth the price while waiting for our room. Wifi is slow compare to their neighbour hotel Ritz Carlton.

Being a very difficult guest and a 100+ day a year Shangri la Hotel client and since the shangri a was sold out i had to book a different hotel for my short 2 days stay and i can tell you what a Gem. The location, the facility, Cleanliness, Service, food and over all the staff. I can't thank enough. I am better take this opportunity to thank a few people . Th e restaurant staff Stacy, Sunshine, Hillary and no iwas not only telling her it is easy to remember her name since i only know one Hillary( Clinton), Pascal and front office manager Klein. Unfortunately i can't remember the rest of them. Stay at this hotel and you won't be disappointed.
