Quick and easy check in for our three night stay. Our room was downstairs with a sea view but we had a lot of road noise as we were the closest to the road. The room was spacious and had everything we needed although will be better once refurbished which I understand is a work in progress. The bathroom is a little small and the fan which comes on when the light is turned on is very noisy. Having said that we were comfortable and the motel is close to a cafe, local store and petrol station with a supermarket a few minutes drive around the corner. It is walkable to the main shops and restaurants.

We based ourselves here for 6 nights with our UK whanau, their 1sr trip to the winterless North. The owner, Jimmy, was wonderful, very helpful and accomodating, upgraded us to the front rooms where we had a beautiful view of Te Ti Bay. There is so much to see and do around Paihia. we couldnt do it all, however we gave it a good go. Nearby are restaurants, Petrol station, cafe within 2 minutes walking and Woolworths supermarket 10 minutes - Waitangi Meeting Grounds, 20 minutes, Ferry to Russell or boat to the Hole in the Rock 10 minutes, plus a kids playgroung across the road - the Bay Sands Seafront Studios are a perfect launching pad for exploring Paihia and surrounds.

Really nice motel in a great location in Paihia. Across the road from a lovely beach and a short walk to everything in town. I had a fairly basic double room, but everything clean and tidy. Very comfortable and I will certainly stay again.

Very clean and tidy but very dated. Beds are very soft. Large step up into shower. Lots of road noise but great view of the sea.

We are a retired couple from Australia visiting NZ for the first time. We had booked this accommodation before leaving home, so hoped we had done our research well enough. We were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed by reception who were very obliging with any of our questions or needs.
A very pleasant 10-minute walk along the coast and you were in the centre of Paihia – very convenient.
Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi speeds were unbelievable! Besides Sky TV, there was Netflix, Prime, even YouTube. We couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend.

Jimmy was welcoming from the start, he even lent us a fishing rod so we could drop a line. Accommodation is older style, but very clean and we were upgraded to one of the beach view apartments which was a nice surprise on arrival. This accommodation was just what we needed and had an enjoyable two night stay.

Very spacious room with balcony to enjoy lovely views of the bay. Our room was super clean and the decor fine but overall the complex is a little tired. However this is reflected in the room price which represents value for money for the beachside location.

Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The place could use a bit if tlc. It was very close to a neighbouring property and it felt a bit awkward when you would come down the stairs and be looking straight into their house. Very close to beach and a short walk to town. Nothing wrong with it, but just fine.

The staff were very accomodating and found me somewhere I could charge my EV overnight.

The overall room was excellent very clean - reception great very helpful. If I had to put a downside it would of been the parking but at least we were able to have the parking

The bedroom, bathroom and lounge area was exceptionally clean and there was sufficient utensils and appliances in the kitchen area such as a microwave, fridge and small cooker. The place itself was very conveniently situated within a 15min walk from the town centre and pier. However, it did lack space and would benefit from air conditioning. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Wonderful place to stay...the manager Jimmy is most knowledgeable about the area and helpful to guest. Try to book one of the rooms with a view.
