Beautiful room with amazing view, room is specious and shower is amazing, highly recommended

The personnel is friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good, close to the center and the train station. The breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of quality products. Maybe natural orange juice would be a point to improve, but in general we were satisfied. The restaurant offers very good grilled meat, it’s worth trying (not cheap, though). The only downside is that we had booked and paid for the “superior room with balcony (large - 23 m2)”, and we only got the “standard medium room (18 m2)”. So we were a bit disappointed about it. Every thing else was fine

Modern, colorful, trendy vibe and decor. Friendly staff. Excellent location near the river and a short walk from the historic church, shopping and the old wooden bridge Kapellbruecke. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Only minus was that mini bar fridge was not included in some rooms. Included breakfast was excellent.

Business trip and was assigned a single room. Room was tiny, cold, bed/pillows not comfortable. No desk to work or place to put my trolley. Personnel was nice. Overall disappointed as I was expecting more comfort based on the website pictures and overall rating.

Nice to have a balcony in order to relax and drink outside after supper.

We absolutely loved our stay ❤️ We had the best time for my Birthday and our 36th Anniversary. Staff were the best . Super helpful. So close to train and boats . It sure made getting around Switzerland 🇨🇭 super easy. We diffinelty would go back.

We had a lovely if short stay. The hotel was comfortable, open, and restful. The restaurant's breakfast buffet was amazing, and made us sorry we hadn't eaten there for dinner!

I spent 2 nights here and would have stayed longer if my itinerary had allowed. This is not a fancy hotel but it has a cool and simple vibe, my room was small but very well designed and comfortable, the staff are excellent, the breakfast is included and very generous and the location is unbeatable - all at reasonable prices. I particularly liked the small and funky public seating area on the third floor where I could sit comfortably and read my book or watch videos; vibrant velour chairs with ottomans to rest your feet and bright little tables. The restaurant was also very good. If you are looking for a place to stay in Lucerne, check this out.

Looks lovely and quirky from reception and bar area., We paid for a superior suite but when walking in it had a unpleasant odour.The rug was very dirty and the pillows smelt.

We loved this unique boutique hotel! Comfortable, clean, nice people, good convenient area, easily walkable from the train station. Very delicious treat left on our bed upon arrival. I judge a hotel by the shower…is the water very hot, does it trickle or stream, things like that. This hotel had a great shower! There was no air conditioner, but we were fine in early June. Very good breakfast as well.

Amazingly located

Great stay. I thought the staff were very attentive to my wife's and my needs throughout the visit. The hotel itself reflects a very unique experience, with a beautiful and authentic souvenir section and a very cool bathroom set up in the basement. For me what set the hotel apartment was the staff. I would like to give extra special mentions to Antonia, Alessia, Joshua and (I hope I got this right) Linda/Lydia. They were very approachable and responsive to all our questions, never rushing us. They gave great tips/recommendations.

Hotel and rooms were exactly (if not better) than pictured. Very roomy and modernly decorated, yet it mixed perfectly with the old and elegant bones of the original building. Location was perfect for walking in any direction. I would stay here again❣️

Hotel Restaurant Anker is conveniently located a short walking distance of 8-10mins from Luzern Main station. Stayed a night here and it was a pleasant experience. I arrived at the hotel in the morning and was allowed to leave my luggages there and check in later while I leave to explore the town. The aesthetics of the hotel are as illustrated in the pictures, artistic vibes. One lacking factor would probably be the amenities offered in the room, perhaps a mini fridge, toothbrush sort of amenities could be part of the stay? My stay was during the early spring/end winter season, so I wasn't too particular on the air conditioning features. Opening the window does the job for a cool breeze. Should you have any issues, the hotel staff should be able to assist. Otherwise, all else was satisfactory! The hotel breakfast was lovely, and of course the restaurant was not in the least lacking. Would definitely recommend this place for its affordability and location. I'd say a 4.5/5!

Friendly staff, good location and good food

I travel constantly and this has been one of my favourite hotels. Everything about it was great and I recommend it unreservedly.

Excellent location with the quietest rooms or pods! The best 3 nights sleep ive had for years and on a nmain road. Helpfull staff and great breakfast.

The hotel is only a few minures walk ftom the bahnhof. We arrived late so contacted the hotrl to let them know it would be bearly midnight when we checked in. The reception desk closes at 11pm but they said they woukd stay open to check us in. We had 3 single rooms which were clean, comfortable and a little quirky. The bathroom is at the side of the bedroom but not a separate room. The shower worked well and the bathroom facilities were good. There was a waist high unit that degined the separation of the two zones and a curtsin above it if you required it. We enjoyed our stay and my 82 year old father was also happy with the hotel.
