The experience at La Posada de Chacon was WONDERFFUL - and made so by its three concierges, Aliev, Andres, and Gloria. It was not simply their friendliness but how helpful they were in securing reservations or making suggestions (and frankly, MUCH better at making a mojito than most of the restaurants around). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable (my husband called it an oasis) and the breakfast was hardy and sufficient to get one through the day. An added benefit is the location - not so far into Habana Vieja that it is difficult to find but far enough off the main road that street noise was not an issue. If you visit Cuba, look no further - stay at La Posada de Chacon and be ready to receive a warm reception from Alieve, Andres, and Gloria!

We had a great stay here, the facility was perfect and centrally located, this made our time in Havana emjoyable and memorable...the staff thought, amazing and excellent at what they do...this is definitely the place to stay. The staff made sure we had access to services and connected us with some of the best, im sure, that havana had to offer...we will return to visit here on our next Cuba holiday. I cannot recommend La Posada de Chacón in Habana vieja enough. Our stay there, my husband's and mine, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the incredible staff - Andres, Gloria, and Aliev. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast prepared by the talented chef. Each morning, we were presented with a beautifully arranged spread that was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The attention to detail and the quality of the food truly exceeded our expectations. Our room was impeccably clean. Cozy boutique hotel relocated inside the old town full of incredibly friendly staff.

The staff were outstanding in arranging excursions, giving advice on the challenging conditions in Cuba, and suggesting restaurants and places to visit. They were fluent in English. The breakfasts were out of this world, with abundant fresh fruit and beautiful presentation.

All of the staff were great. It may sound like a cliche but they sincerely cared. Gave great advices. The room was great as well. They helped every single problem we had. If we ever come back to Havana, we'll stay here again for sure.

Highly recommend this property! We wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was tremendously helpful and arranged transport and gave us great recommendations. The location is great and easy to navigate the neighborhoods. The room was very comfortable and very clean and the staff arranged for an added bed for our child. The breakfast was so good and the atmosphere was authentic and charming without being fake. Great place to stay.

Amazing staff, perfect location, super clean, just perfect. You cannot beat the staff and location. They are a truly concierge property where they arranged for us daily activities with wonderful guides. Our stay in Havana would not have been the same without the awesome hosts. There are lots of must see and do things in Havana but this place must be on your list as well. The staff is so friendly and they go trough all sorts of lenghts to make your stay amazing and unforgettable! We really enjoyed every single minute there. The staff were amazing-so helpful, kind and friendly and have us so much practical help too which was invaluable. Apart from two occasions where we asked for the bed sheets to be cleaned and they weren't, everything else was top notch and we had a very comfortable stay.

What makes this place special is the staff - housekeepers, chef, and especially the concierge team -- Aliev, Andres, and Gloria were all absolutely fabulous. Honestly, the reviews about them seem over the top until you meet them and realize that they deserve every bit of praise they get. My trip was profoundly meaningful because of them. I spent so much time talking with them that I miss them already!

If you go to Havana this is a must visit! From the very first welcome in the middle of the night until we left, the service and hospitality were amazing. Right in the heart of Habana Vieja but still accessible by car if you want to. Breakfast is superb with fresh fruit and eggs anyway you like. Could not recommend this place enough!

We stayed at the Posada de Chacon for three nights. The hotel organised a taxi from the airport and the welcome at the hotel was fantastic. The breakfast is superb and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is situated perfectly to explore Old Havanna and meander around the small streets. Thanks to all the staff for their help and professionalism.

Great to hotel to be around Old Havana. Staff very kind and diligently.

First time visit to Cuba and we stayed here for 3 nights. Andrea, Gloria and Aliev made us feel right at home. The hotel is in the center of the old town and close to many great restaurants and attractions. The breakfast is excellent and the room is clean and quiet. They arranged all transportation for us, airport taxis, to beach, as well in the city. We will be back and stay here again next time in town.

THE POSADO DE CHACON IS LOCATED ON A TYPICAL OLD HAVANA STREET NEAR EVERYTHING YOU WILL PROBABLY WANT TO SEE. THE HOTEL IS SO QUAINT BUT THE MOST AMAZING PART IS THE SERVICE: FROM GLORIA AND THE REST OF THE FRONT DESK STAFF, TO THE SERVERS AND CHEFS, EVERY PERSON WE MET WAS WARM AND KIND. THE PRICE IS REASONABLE WITH A DELICIOUS WELL PRESENTED BREAKFAST. I WILL BE BACK TO POSADA!
