First off, the Name is misleading. It's legally not a Hotel. It is a Motel. the rooms face the parking lot not a hallway inside a closed structure. Secondly the street has some homeless and panhandlers the moment I walked out to get something from a Walgreens half a mile away. but someone was walking loudly upstairs while someone next door was having a Loud conversation till 2-3am. Yes it was a weekend but they were drinking on picnic tables out in front of my room then went into their room which sounded like a fight. took 3 times for the Office to tell them to keep it down. the walls are thin. I can hear a muffled conversation. Every time I dosed off more Noise waking me up. The Bed was nice. the floor was concrete like they were about to put in flooring because the bathroom had "wood" vinyl and slightly elevated. I can see they didn't finish. My room was 108 next to the street. I hope the Hotel honors the second night be refunded since I checked out after the first night. it has potential to being a nice Motel though.

This place is such a great, safe and clean remodel. I love staying here when I come to Redding

I really like the retro modern vibe at the Americana. The staff is friendly, they have nice pillows and good towels and fun touches like a red microwave. While there is no included breakfast they recommended a great breakfast place, Deja Vu, that was only two blocks away and was way better than an included breakfast ever was.

Great location and very reasonable rates. Was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge, which was a totally unexpected surprise. Fantastic, friendly and informative front desk staff. Loved the "vintage" layout. Definitely plan to return if ever making my way back to Redding.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and welcoming! We were going to an event at the civic auditorium and the location of the hotel was great. Dinner recommendations were provided.

Convenient location (for those who like downtown and urban life). Need curtains in rooms for privacy, mirror in room (in case the bathroom is occupied), Netflix and other streaming services. Need to check sinks weekly to make sure they all drain fast (ours was sluggish).

Awesome place to stay! Walkable to so many options: dinning, music, brewery I received a text from Americana asking additional questions regarding our stay. I appreciated this, and when we arrived, our room was ready. We will definitely stay here again.

I really appreciate the staff being super friendly and accommodating. They made me feel very welcomed. The bed was comfy. The room clean. I stayed for one night on my way from Washington state, then decided to come back and stay another night on my way back home. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
