Overall good experience but the towels were a little old. No slippers or tissues in the room.

We booked the townhouse suite and very much enjoyed our stay here. The views were sublime overlooking Liverpool. We enjoyed using all the different facilities in the room. It is a shame that there is no instructions / guide to use things in the room, but seemingly becoming the normal now in hotels. The complimentary drinks included local beers which we enjoyed and the views from the bath was excellent. Only slight negative was that the tap was broken and leaked so had to fill using the shower head but not so much of a problem. Would be nice to provide bubble bath but again wasn’t too much of an issue. The staff are friendly and efficient and is a very welcoming hotel. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Liverpool is a fabulous city. Hotel conveniently located to all major attractions without being in the fray.

Great new hotel. Atmosphere was calm and friendly. The decor was cool and funky. The room was really well designed, for example USB ports by the bed, and the bathroom area excellent. The location was really handy for central Liverpool and the Albert Dock area. We will definitely stay again.

Fabulous hotel. Value for money, with lots of extras, including free drinks in room fridge. Walkable to all shops etc. Highly recommend.

Nice, up to date, spacious rooms. The air in the first room wasn’t working properly and the manager quickly moved me to another room, which was great. Good location and easy to get around town. Also a great buffet breakfast!

Really enjoyed our stay . All the staff was friendly and efficient. Our room had a lovely view and it was so quiet and it was nice as well to have a cool free drink waiting for us in the fridge everyday : thank you for this attention... As for the location of the hotel,it was very convenient to explore the docks or to go to the museums ... We will come back...😎

All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, room was excellent very clean. The decor was modern and relaxing. We had a room on the 16th floor with 3 huge windows so we could see all of Liverpool.The bar on the 18th floor was amazing the views wow we will definitely stay again

A comfortable stay, very neat and the breakfast was really good.

Lovely hotel with window views of the city and waterfront but unfortunately the toilet didn’t work in our room. We had to move rooms in the late evening after returning to the hotel from being out for dinner. It didn’t really affect our stay so would gladly recommend the Melia.

City centre , quality hotel and lovely staff.

Absolutely amazing stay, at the check in got upgraded to a double room with a river view, and the room was just a haven. Complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. Roof top bar had been really nice to relax. Will definitely be back - the only downside was at the very end of my stay, when I was jumped by one of the housekeepers as soon as I left the room, wanting to investigate which room I vacated.

Really fantastic hotel, modern rooms, felt very secure and a great breakfast Sky Bar on 18th floor is amazing.

Gorgeous river view room definitely worth the price. 10 minute walk to liverpool one. Ordered room service from Gino Di’Campo’s restaurant downstairs and it was lovely. Staff are extremely friendly. 24 hour corner shop 2 seconds round the corner. All was perfect and I would definitely recommend.

Great location. Handy supermarkets nearby and only ten minutes walk to docks, Mersey Ferry and other attractions.

Very cool hotel, communal areas and sky bar definitely a great place to hang out. Hotel rooms brights and spacious, fantastic shower. Liked the complimentary drinks in the mini bar. Will return on my next visit to Liverpool

Paid far too much for what I got Room was basic, no great view and my evening meal was anything up to £25 per person For £346 I definitely did not get value for money
