Easy check in and out by phone..our room was ready at noon so we could travel earlier than expected..room was lovely and views over the mersey we had coke and beer in the fridge which was lovely ..no biscuits though!...

We booked the townhouse suite and very much enjoyed our stay here. The views were sublime overlooking Liverpool. We enjoyed using all the different facilities in the room. It is a shame that there is no instructions / guide to use things in the room, but seemingly becoming the normal now in hotels. The complimentary drinks included local beers which we enjoyed and the views from the bath was excellent. Only slight negative was that the tap was broken and leaked so had to fill using the shower head but not so much of a problem. Would be nice to provide bubble bath but again wasn’t too much of an issue.
The staff are friendly and efficient and is a very welcoming hotel.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Great new hotel. Atmosphere was calm and friendly. The decor was cool and funky. The room was really well designed, for example USB ports by the bed, and the bathroom area excellent. The location was really handy for central Liverpool and the Albert Dock area. We will definitely stay again.

Fabulous hotel. Value for money, with lots of extras, including free drinks in room fridge. Walkable to all shops etc. Highly recommend.

Nice, up to date, spacious rooms. The air in the first room wasn’t working properly and the manager quickly moved me to another room, which was great. Good location and easy to get around town. Also a great buffet breakfast!

All the staff was friendly and efficient.
Our room had a lovely view and it was so quiet and it was nice as well to have a cool free drink waiting for us in the fridge everyday : thank you for this attention...
As for the location of the hotel,it was very convenient to explore the docks or to go to the museums ...

All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, room was excellent very clean. The decor was modern and relaxing. We had a room on the 16th floor with 3 huge windows so we could see all of Liverpool.The bar on the 18th floor was amazing the views wow we will definitely stay again

Lovely hotel with window views of the city and waterfront but unfortunately the toilet didn’t work in our room.
We had to move rooms in the late evening after returning to the hotel from being out for dinner.
It didn’t really affect our stay so would gladly recommend the Melia.

Absolutely amazing stay, at the check in got upgraded to a double room with a river view, and the room was just a haven. Complimentary drinks were a lovely touch. Roof top bar had been really nice to relax. Will definitely be back - the only downside was at the very end of my stay, when I was jumped by one of the housekeepers as soon as I left the room, wanting to investigate which room I vacated.

Gorgeous river view room definitely worth the price. 10 minute walk to liverpool one. Ordered room service from Gino Di’Campo’s restaurant downstairs and it was lovely. Staff are extremely friendly. 24 hour corner shop 2 seconds round the corner. All was perfect and I would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Salvatore who was super welcoming and friendly. We’re so grateful for the complimentary Prosecco you gave us when you found out we’re from the same neighbourhood. You really made our stay and look forward to coming back soon

Very cool hotel, communal areas and sky bar definitely a great place to hang out. Hotel rooms brights and spacious, fantastic shower. Liked the complimentary drinks in the mini bar. Will return on my next visit to Liverpool

Friendly and helpful staff, at check-in and in the restaurant (which was first-rate, BTW). Modern, stylish rooms. Good location. Parking wasn’t seamless, but it’s close and protected.

Nice place all around. Great views. Only real complaints would be the temp of the room. No matter what it was a sweat box until we found out we could get a fan so that helped. WiFi didn't work in the room. Maybe not as big of a deal to others but when you need WiFi to call or FaceTime it's helpful. Not sure if the sky bar is owned by the hotel but the stuff up there is very unfriendly. Parking isn't free, didn't see they before booking so maybe it my fault. But they do give a code for the parking deck around the corner and that helped bring the price down a lot.

I give it 9 out of 10.
The pros are: Great location, excellent breakfast even for those of us who don’t fancy the English breakfast variant, clean and comfortable room, nice spacious sky bar, they fill up the refrigerator with water and a variety of good quality soft drinks every day.
Cons: The functional room was somewhat soulless. Had I had a sea view, I could have overlooked that.

The hotel is great ! Rooms and bar area are modern spacious and attractive - great design. Restaurant looks great but didn’t use it - wish I had ! Great value !
