I visit Redding often and stay here all the time.

Super clean hotel with a great happy hour free drinks and snacks. The hotel looked brand new, breakfast was excellent they make it in front of you. I was super impressed . It had a small, but very nice Swimming pool that was heated and saltwater along with the hot tub .

Walking distance to several resturants. Covenient to the freeway.

The Oxford Suite is in a good location

Very nice staff…clean facilities, quiet, complementary drink and snack at happy hour time was a nice surprise!

Not up to par with other Oxford Suites we have stayed at. 1. Room was dark and dreary. The two bedside lamps were very dim, and no lighting at all at the sofa. Had to use flashlight to read at the sofa in the evening. The only other lighting besides the vanity and bathroom was a small desk light. Also, vanity light was also too dim for makeup and there was no lighting at the other mirrors. 2. All pillows were way too uncomfortably thick. Never had such thick pillows in 200 hotel stays. 3. Breakfast was very mediocre. You could not serve yourself the hot food. The potato patty and sausage were cold, especially the potato with no way to warm it up. No waffle option. 3. Only one small drawer for clothing if needed for a multiple day stay. 4. Refrigerator door awkward to open. 5. Received text during stay that daily housekeeping is not performed they said to help the environment. I believe this statement is insincere and dishonest. I believe the real reason is to save costs, a reason that I would accept much more positively. 6. The one positive is that the pool area is very nice and inviting.

Offered free drinks and appitizers in the evening. Breakfast was a good buffet. Clean and modern.

We loved the free drink and appetizers. Cookies at check-in. Great pool and hot tub. Comfortable suite with a slider to close off the living area. Friendly staff. Our only complaint would be the people above us kind of clomped around through the evening and a bit into the night.

We have stayed here before. We love all the amenities for our family. Pool, snacks, bar service and accessibility were great. Sadly this time around the tv services was unavailable. Hope this gets fix soon.

Breakfast was very good! Very safe property with easy parking. Location is great within walking distance to restaurant, tesla supercharger.

Good and comfy for family’s

The hotel is pretty well maintained. However, the ceiling is not sound-proof, we can hear every single noise from upstair.

This hotel was perfectly fine, and compared to the other options in the broad area it was probably the best choice. I rate it only 'okay' based on the price to value. We had just stayed in a much, much nicer hotel in Los Angeles which was quite a bit cheaper per night, and that was on a weekend. It was definitely clean and comfortable, and the beds were good.

We stayed one night overall is good.

Everything as advertised!

Paid extra for a “pool side” suite only to find out it didn’t have a door that opened to the pool. Staff didn’t help with this either.

The Oxford is an older hotel near yh3 Turtle Bay area of Redding. Thw staff was very accomdating and offered all sorts of amenities including free drinks at the bar, appetizers and breakfast. The beds were comfy and thw room was spacious. Parking is free. This worked well for a quick night over on a long road trip.

Good looking hotel but we were disappointed that the rooms were so small…no where in our King Suite’ was there enuf space to pass each other easily. The coffee was instant in a bag…we were happy we had our Keurig with us. The pool area was beautiful but not a single person using it while we were there. Too, we were disappointed in their social area being closed on Sundays… (difficult to take advantage of our silver hotels.com benefits when they’re available) The total lack of sound proofing was annoying- our neighbors TV was on very late. Overall a very poor experience for us.

Cleanliness was an issue. Needs updating

This is a really nice and clean hotel and as said in the other reviews it lived upto that. I was expecting the breakfast to be little better but it was kindof standard although the cleanliness of the staff and the surrounding made it special.

This is my go-to hotel in Redding. I believe they have a saltwater pool which is really nice and a Jacuzzi. They also serve a hot breakfast & happy hour snacks & complimentary well drinks. The breakfast has freshly cooked bacon from the grill, tasty hash browns, eggs, pancakes cereals and fruit. Also very good coffee. I like that the rooms are completely updated and modern. Perfect overnight Hotel, better than expected for the area next to a busy Street. Lots of good restaurants around the area including Kahuna's Mongolian Grill and When Pie Meets Bread. The hotel also has a full bar, with beer on tap and also an offering of food you can purchase for in room eating and bottles of wine to purchase from local wineries.
