The bathroom smelled like urine, the room was clean but needs a remodel. The parking was not the best for a Ram with a trailer pulling a side by side. However, for a nights rest and the price before heading on to our destination it was okay.

The room smelled musty like BO when you first walked in. After turning on the air the smell got better. There was a hole in the wall behind the door where the handle had hit many times before. There was not a matted pad on either queen bed only a flat sheet tucked in. There were holes in the curtain to the sliding window door. It is not an ocean front property but view of the lake across the ferry parking lot. No access to the water. Breakfast is only coffee, hot chocolate or black tea and muffins. Online check in was easy and fast. Checkout was simple and the receptionist was very nice.

The room was GREAT, there was so much room, the balcony overlooking the water was beautiful, the pool and hottub were fantastic. My kids and I loved watching the sunrise over the water while still laying in bed. Such a wonderful view. Will definitely stay again.

The features described is not like what you really see in person. One of the feature described is breakfast but they only offer muffins and coffee.

In general, our stay at this hotel was not a bad experience but it could have been better. When we booked the hotel, it said there was a breakfast but when we reached there, the first thing we heard from the reception was that, there is only tea/coffee and muffins for the breakfast. When I asked why they put on their website if they don't offer a breakfast, the lady laughed...:( Another issue we faced was the swimming pool. It was not clean enough and the floor of the pool was peeling off.

Don't stay here, trust me. The room is dirty and in need of updates, stereotypical bandaid in the pool, the breakfast included was a tiny packaged muffin. The water park isnt an extra charge so why did I pay 25$ extra?! Horrible experience

I never leave reviews, but don’t be fooled by the facade you see online. This is a motel and not a hotel. The room was very dirty and outdated. The shower head was moldy and the towels were stained. The sheets in the beds were also stained. The pool and hot tub were severely cloudy and there was only a hint of chlorine. Paint was chipping everywhere you turned.

Its pretty decent. Ferries within walking distance. Property is decent. Only problem is flies and unclean floors.

The room was dirty. Staff was not very help full. We have stayed plenty of times. We won't be going back.

There was no light near the room. So when I came up the stairs, it was all dark, and I needed the light from my phone to see. There is no microwave in the room. Also, there’s a little fridge, but the door was hard to open and close. Plus, their breakfast was just a muffin and coffee, and that’s it.

Staff is not friendly they have notification saying cheap ticket guaranteed for Mackinac island and purchased tickets with them by trusting but when checked online it’s way cheaper. When I asked for adjustment the staff said they can’t do it.disappointed with break fast only muffins available as breakfast. AC not working. Overs all 0 rating

The staff were super nice and helpful. The outside stairs to go to 2nd floor were really dirty and had ripped carpet on steps. Room was clean bit bathroom was really small. Pool area was very disappointing, it was very outdated not visually appealing at all. The hot tub was very dirt you cpuldnt even see through the water. Overall it is a decent place to stay if your pans are to be out doing other things and just looking for a place to sleep.

Great location beside the ferry. If you like walking, it is not that far from the city center. Room has coffee. Muffins for breakfast. Room is a bit old and needs touch ups. Wall paper peeling off.

Room was nothing like the pictures posted on their website. Many things in the room were falling apart and bathroom could use some repairs. The view from the balcony was beautiful, but you could not just have the screen door open because it was broke off and we could not get it on the track. Price per night was way too high for what they had to offer and the quality of the room.

Very awesome/ quick check-in. The room was a nice size and clean (our housekeeper was Lavern). Also nice location as it was easy to walk to Main Street.

This place is a dive. Although it was clean, the beds are rock-hard and the AC cycles extremely loudly. It is on the far end of Huron St. from the Shepler's dock. I do not recommend.

The room was nice enough, but don't stay here if you're looking for frills of any sort!

Terrible motel

The hotel is the definition of "it'll do". Not overtly dirty, but no one would rave about its cleanliness. AC worked but temperature sensor didnt so it was all the way on or all the way off. Shower drain was clogged and drained very slow. Filled up while you showered. Hair drying didnt work. Not great.... but it'll do

It is very important to request handicap room because the room is spacious and clean, unlike others. The continental breakfast is literally coffee and packaged muffins.

Liked closseness to ferry to Mackinaw Island. Disliked outdated room, no microwave, poor pool conditions, overall hotel surroundings need update.

I booked this hotel online. The pictures shown online were nothing like what we walked into at the hotel sight. The beds were filthy, bathroom vanity falling apart, shower head vibrated terribly when turned on, and numerous cosmetic issues including animal chewed on furniture and paint and wallpaper coming off the walls. We had two rooms booked and both rooms had similar issues. We also talked to some other people staying at this hotel and their room had the same issues. I discussed our issues with the manager and asked for a refund and was going to stay at another hotel. The manager only offered to send a maid to change the bedsheets. We kept telling them we were totally dissatisfied but the manager would not agree to a refund. The manager actually hung up on me in mid conversation. We then called hotels.com and they tried to reach out to the manager and it took several attempts. When they finally touched base with the manager, this person still refused our refund. I never complain about anything and I can put up with a lot of things, but this hotel was the worst I have ever seen. Very disappointed in this hotel chain. Not at all concerned about customer satisfaction. I will never stay at this hotel and encourage others to look elsewhere.

Paint peeling off walls and ceiling. Sink counter falling apart. Was a 1" gap between bathroom door and door jamb so there was no privacy using the toilet. There was a thousand holes in the curtain covering the patio doors. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life and this was just plain horrible! I cant believe Wyndham would put their name on this place.

Place is old and outdated-website says free breakfast-it’s pre packaged muffins and free coffee-our tv didn’t work-I called the front desk they told me to check all the connections behind the tv instead of sending someone up to fix it-checked the connections and tried to call the front desk back to tell them it still didn’t work and they didn’t answer the phone-waited until the next day and went to the front desk in person-finally hit it fixed
