The hotel was very close to st marks square & rialto bridge. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. We had dinner one evening in the hotel restaurant as it was raining. The food was delicious. There is also a roof top bar which was lovely in the evening.

The staff was superb - very helpful and kind. Location was excellent as well. The roof top bar was very cool, too.

The location of the hotel is superb. Close to the main attractions but away from the crowds so it was nice and quiet. The housekeeping staff were great. They kept the room spotless and appeared to attend to the room 2-3 times a day. The only slight criticism was that the drinks and meals in the hotel restaurant were expensive even for Venice.

Loved this hotel! It is very clean and the service is amazing. The staff were very helpful with information about getting around Venice. The room exceeded our expectations. They made our honeymoon enjoyable! It was also very convenient having the water taxi service pick us up right outside the hotel to take us to the airport. It is in a great location right near all the shops and St.Marks square.

PERFECT PLACE AT THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING

Located near St Marks Square, plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Black-out shades in the room were excellent so we could sleep in. Front desk argued with me about getting a fan for the room, it was in the high 90’s and the room was not very cool. Finally they sent a fan to the room, not sure why it was an issue. Not very good at restocking the coffee bar or vanity items. Great location but for the price they can do better.

Nice hotel overall

This hotel is located close to Saint Mark Square and a short walk to the Grand canal. We received a lovely welcome with a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne with biscotti which was incredibly welcomed as it was a very hot and long journey. The check-in was incredibly quick and the staff all very welcoming

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Guest services unhelpful with assisting in changing train ticket but we were able to figure it out on our own despite him being unwilling to help us. Incredible dining options nearby but staff arranged lunch for us on our arrival day at a nearby restaurant with average cuisine and fairly high prices. Despite those small disappointments, it was overall a very good experience and we’d stay here again without a doubt.

Lovely position on a quiet canal, canal view rooms available which we like to have. Superb location near Piazza San Marco. Rooftop bar lounge area has great views over the rooftops and lots of cover for shade from the Sun. Breakfast buffet is extensive and seems to get better every year, this was our 5th stay in this hotel.

Great stay at an amazing location. Situated exactly half way between st marks square and the Rialto bridge. Wonderful hotel. Wish the roof terrace was open but the brilliant barman DEV allowed us to take a drink up there anyway and ensured we were served. Excellent service, brilliant espresso martini from dev (and my standards are high). . Thank you

Beautifully furnished, clean hotel rooms in the heart of Venice. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to all major attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay was average at best, especially considering the price per night stay. There is a terrible sulfur-like (rotten egg, sewage) smell in the lobby that permeates through the first floor of the hotel, unfortunately our room was on the first floor. The hotel also boasts a roof-top bar, but in reality there is access to the roof but drinks must be brought up by guests from the lobby bar, no staff or bartending. Lastly, despite keeping windows closed there were fruit flies and gnats that would appear seemingly out of nowhere. Location to heavily trafficked tourist spots like San Marco and Rialto are the only benefit of staying here.

I really enjoyed staying this hotel. It's very close to main shopping stores and lots of restaurants. If you hire a private water taxi (costs around $130) you can be dropped off right in front of the hotel.

Everything was great!

The property has a great location and the rooms and service overall were great. The room had a slightly moldy smell, but I will write that off to any property in Venice given that most are thousand years old. The service staff is great, however, the concierge is a different story. I called to ask them about my options for transportation from the airport to the hotel. The only two provided were 270 euros for a private transfer and 160 euros for a water taxi from the airport to the hotel that could be hired from the airport. In reality, you can take other options such as a bus or a train for 10 euros per person from the airport to Piazzale Roma followed by a 2 min walk to Vaperatto station and a water taxi to Rialto bridge again for 10 euros followed by 4 min walk to the hotel. I understand they are out there to make a buck but honesty goes a long way. They should lay out all the options to guests and let them decide what works best for them. Also, just a side note most locations in Venice near the water taxi station are great locations. It is such a small set of islands that you can get anywhere within 20 - 25 minutes walk/water-taxi and almost everywhere is so beautiful that you will enjoy the sojourn. We did not opt for hotel breakfast and some seriously great options within a 5-10-minute walk offered several options. Thought the breakfast in hotel didn't look all that bad, but we wanted the Venice experience. Now that we are familiar with Venice we may or may not stay here.
