Super cool little hotel! It is older, but it’s historic! So close to the beach, tons of amazing nightlife, but still safe to walk around with my 12 year old daughter.

We went for a long weekend Thursday to Monday! Beach was across the street very convenient. Lots of restaurants to choose from on Ocean Drive. Front desk staff very friendly bar & restaurant had great service! Julianna was great! We will definitely return! Thanks

The accommodations met our standards, the staff was very nice an welcoming.

Definitely will be back. Had a great time, staff friendly food excellent! Place can use upgrades to the rooms our room had a shortage on one of the light fixtures.

Beautiful location right across from the beach! Rooms are small as it is an older hotel but for the age, well maintained and beautiful! The staff was amazing and loved the location. View from the room isn’t much but walk out the front door and you are in paradise. Used it for an overnight before our cruise out of Miami. It is very conveniently located for that purpose!

Property looks different online, the best was the staff. This place needs more of a deep cleaning and thorough cleaning.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about The Colony and its staff. We had air conditioner issues the first night of our stay and we relocated to a room that was less luxurious than what we had booked but the front desk sent up champagne and that definitely went a long way. Every single staff member we interacted with was amazing and they all went out of their way to make our stay perfectly amazing; they treated us like VIP’s. Aside from that, the location is ideal! Easy access to the beach, convenience store, restaurants, and shops. We ride shared to the hotel and back but didn’t need a car the whole time. We will absolutely stay here again.

Exactly why we needed for our 1 night stay before a cruise.

The Colony is a superb example of a classic art deco hotel. From the outside neon lighting to the interiors, its like walking back in time. The room had all modern amenities and we chose a sea facing room which was actually reasonably priced. Perfect location for exploring the local restaurants and bars and a 1 minute walk to the beach. Service was top notch and extra friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Enjoyed our stay in this classic Miami Beach Art Deco hotel located right next door to where they filmed chainsaw scene from Scarface now a very convenient CVS. I would describe this hotel as well as others on the strip as being sort of European. Smaller rooms and bathroom. But It was clean. Check in was a little rocky and weren't able to check in at 4 but had to wait until later but they took care of us with a discount. Location is great. Good value for the money. Would stay here again.

Area is nice, valet a bit questionable. Room was good for the one night. The food was good.

Excellent location - obviously! Small but beautifully formed room - very comfortable and immaculate. Stayed for 3 nights and would definitely do so again. Beach towels provided - nice touch and used. Thanks

Loved this cute hotel and everything was perfect, location, service, and we felt safe. The music does go loud until midnight but you’re in Miami.

Great stay in a perfect location! Everything was in walking distance. The bathrooms are really dark with a very dim light which wasn’t great. There was one small mirror in the bathroom and a mirror on the wall both not great when getting ready. Definitely recommend taking your own mirror to do hair and makeup.

Loved South Beach Miami. The Colony was a lovey historic hotel. Cute little bar. Friendly staff and great little on-site restaurant. Loved the Scarface theme.

Hotel staff were great, especially Wes. Very kind and helpful, and happy! New carpet was being installed, so it was a bit of a strong odor, but not their fault. Kinda dark overall.
