A lovely friendly service, except one of the receptionists has a brash and rude attitude. The staff were very friendly and polite otherwise, and the hotel clean and cosy.

Got a pastry and yogurt for continental Breakfast I definitely don’t think It was worth the price. Other than that I was overall pleased

I chose The Corner House Hotel in Horley after discovering they had one single room left going for £79.00 for one night (I stayed from 31st August to September 1st 2024). The Corner House Hotel is an incredibly friendly family-run hotel situated on Massetts Road, Horley, and is a mere 10 minutes walk from Horley train station (one stop before Gatwick!) as well as the shops in the centre of the village. The single room has all the basic amenities including a single bed, en-suite bathroom and shower, television, and a desk and chair. I chose to have dinner at the hotel and it was very tasty, locally sourced and reasonably priced. They have a breakfast, dinner and drinks menu as well as a snack bar onsite. The hotel also provides a dedicate minibus service taking passengers to and from Gatwick Airport North and South terminals, however I took the train from Horley to Gatwick Airport Station on the day of my flight. I would highly recommend anyone using Gatwick Airport to choose the Corner House Hotel if you are looking for an affordable place to crash for the night. Amazing from start to finish i arrived to hotel after 10pm as flying from canada had a few bad problems getting back to England. Then transport was slow even though hotel a 5 mins drive from airport. When i got there lady at desk very kind and helpful even made me some chips . Had walk across road to get to room that looked like a chalet type. Horley town was just 15 mins walk so a great win win all round. Definately recommend hotel and is so easy to get to from south terminal.

The pick up from the ariport is very easy and staff are great and accommodating. We will use this location when we return to London next time.

Clean small single room with shower was good for 1 night rest before going to Gatwick. Staff lovely and helpful. The parking is very tight and when booking was not told you had to pay for the parking. This needs to be transparent when making a booking. It's only an extra £10 but an extra cost none the less. Apart from that all good.
