The hotel was clean, room was nice. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. I stayed prior to an early morning medical procedure at U of M, it was conveniently located to get to the hospital. The vending machines were picked over, and the elevator didnt work in the morning. But for the price I was satisfied.

The hotel is getting old. The room is comfortable. The breakfast is typical. Good for a road trip.

The staff was amazing. We had delays on our flight to Ann Arbor and got to our hotel at 2 or 3 a.m. and were warmly greeted and welcomed. The desk clerk's cheerfulness was just what we needed. Our room had the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel. We were there 5 nights and each night was comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

A very nice stay at this Comfort Inn. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was fine - typical breakfast fare - but best of all they had GREAT coffee in their breakfast area available 24 hours! The BOLD coffee was really good. No need to go find a coffee shop! There is also an in room coffee maker but we didn’t try it. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. It was easy to find and convenient to get to the U of Michigan campus and football game - straight up State Street. At the same time, it was good to be a little removed from how busy it got on game day! We do hate seeing Fox on the tv in the breakfast room, but the staff were happy to change it for us and unlike on game day, there were few others in the breakfast room and no-one complained. If nothing else, just put the weather channel on for people heading out on the highways … anything but Fox!

Served its purpose, arrived at bedtime, left after breakfast. Breakfast was really busy but decent.

When we checked in, my daughter and I thought we had booked a room with 2 Queen beds. We found out it was booked at just 1 king bed. Sheila and Suzy were able to upgrade us to a suite so my daughter could sleep on the sofa sleeper at no extra charge. They provided wonderful customer service even though the hotel was overbooked for the 1st Michigan game of the season. They gave us great advice on rides to and from the game and made sure we had everything we needed!! Thank you for having very caring employees like Sheila and Suzy!! Please take good care of them!!

Very clean. Comfortable bed.

The hotel was right off the highway and convenient for visiting University of Michigan which was less than a 10 minute drive. Very quiet! Bed and pillows were comfy. Price was a great deal compared to all the other hotels which are all within the same area.

AC in room was very loud and bad. The room smelled moldy

The room was way overdue for updating, especially the bathroom.

I have tried to pick other hotels when I come to Ann Arbor, but for the comfort, price, security, food, kindness and convenience of this hotel, I just can't choose any other place.

Location was convenient for college move-in. However, the property needs a renewal. Shower tub chipped, musty rug, old worn-down look is the major vibe you get from this hotel. Would look for another option next time.

Our room was very quiet. Only room available happened to be a handicapped accessible room. Felt very spacious and located on first floor and of hallway with less traffic.

We had to ask for fresh bedding and towels. The service was not readily available unless we asked. There were eyelashes on the floor which means it was not cleaned before we got there. The bedding didnt look clean and there was a smelly pillow on the bed.

It was a pretty standard budget hotel. Breakfast was decent. The room was very damp and musty though. The carpet was actually quite damp to walk on, it wasn’t just the moisture in the air. We only stayed as a quick overnight on a longer journey so didn’t bother to ask to change rooms as we have 2 toddlers who were done with a crazy day of travel.

Nice stay

This rooms set-up needs to be changed so that the guest is not forced to see under the door at night. With lights off and laying in bed you can see everything that happens outside the rooms door at night. Any time someone walks past the door or stops at the door the guest knows while laying in bed.

Let’s start with: couldn’t check in early, which most hotels allow. Room was small, no toilet seat lid, so looked like a public bathroom, clothes hangers were the old kind that you can’t freely remove. Room window was so dirty we could hardly see out. Beds made noises, cabinet of fridge squeezed and wasn’t fully closable. Breakfast was poor, bacon barely cooked, not quality items. Hot tub was closed she we were never told in advance or at check in. Room air conditioner didn’t take moisture out if room and was super loud. Everything is old, you can tell nothings been updated in years. Will never stay here again!

Large wet patch on carpet in room when we arrived. Maintenance man just turned on the air conditioner. Hotel is tired and needs a refresh.

The room was not the cleanest and the air quality was poor.

Carpet in the room was stained in several areas and room did not smell clean. The window needed to be replaced and you could barely see out of it. I did not stay because I was disgusted. Left and found another nearby hotel to stay at.

This was a great room for its price. The breakfast was solid having a wide variety from waffles and omelets to bagels and yogurt. Rooms were clean and service was good. I consider this a good stay for its price!

This was a good value for the price. Conveniently located off I-94 and close to University of Michigan campus. Front desk staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, and Breakfast had a lot of options, both hot and cold. Minor cosmetic updates might have earned a higher score, but overall this was a great stay for what we needed.

Was here for a short stay and it was wonderful with comfy beds, breakfast in the morning, and a pool to use before checkout. Checking in/out was quick and easy.
