The old Jamaican inn is part of the Caribbean property now. We stayed in room 102 which needed a new door. It had been broken into, and one day we could not get back into our room until contacting maintenance. We thank the staff for helping us every time we called.

We literally had to force shut our door. When asked about another room..they were at capacity.

The location is convenient, and the service overall was excellent. Our only beef is that the room and furniture condition was a bit run-down. However, the hotel is in the process of refurbishing, so this should be taken care of in the next couple months

Good night but pictures of the “ocean view” was misleading.

I know they're going through renovations, but if the room is in this shape, you shouldn't be allowed to sell it. We also had a few cockroaches. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change, but I was told to 'live with it'.

It was nice peaceful, but there were some pest issues.

Our stay was fine. The room was big enough for our family. The beds and linens were very comfortable. All rooms need to have the lamp shades replaced as they were all torn with holes in them.

We really enjoyed our family vacation/weekend trip to the Caribbean Resort and Villas. the kids really enjoyed the waterpark and pool areas. We had a wonderful ocean view from our 18th floor 3br condo balcony! We will definitely be staying at this resort again! Great place for family with kiddos!

Was there 4 nights and floors were never vacuumed. Electrical outlet boxes were missing. Cables were hanging out of walls

We stayed for a long weekend birthday celebration. The bedrooms were perfect and spacious for my family. The view was great. There were a couple issues, the closet door & kitchen drawer were broken. Overall it was great though. The location was nice. The only issue was the weed smell which was overwhelming. I do know that's typical for Myrtle. Also even though it was off season & not hardly anyone in the pools the staff would not let any kids even young ones play with any toys/balls in the pools. Even when they were the only ones in the pool and just young kids.

My husband and I came to Myrtle Beach to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we’ve stayed here before as always we had an amazing time.

Check in was very easy even though the staff had no change and was very busy answering phones. The guy apologized to me for having to answer the phones he stated they was more important ummm okay. Room was horrible very outdated, we saw 2 roaches in our room it looked nothing like the pictures. Loved our view and pools

First off the front desk guy that helped me was really rude and my bathroom smelled like piss and overall was disappointed!

Elevators run noisy. Had no laundry equipment in room

Noisy housekeepers and guests. Roach infested. Charged me $100 hold fee twice for staying one night with no damage to the property, ugly atmosphere not like in the pictures. Never again!

We were surprised how large the room was. Beautiful view. One negative thing. The room was never cleaned or refreshed with no towels. But there plenty of towels for 2 people. Could have used coffee as there is no coffee outside the restaurant. We plan on coming back

Immediately when entering the room we noticed cigarette butts all over the patio, dirty carpets, had issues with hot water, and we woke up to roaches scurrying all over the counter top and in our BAGS, my purse, at 6am, resulting in us leaving early, right then and there. I am now terrified I will be bringing something home. I noticed as we were leaving roaches were running under the stove, in the closets, and under the dresser. Even checked the room beforehand and didn't see anything so felt it safe and clean to stay. We were wrong.

the weather was not the best but we made the most of it anyways,if you like a hard mattress this is your place.Housekeeping came and don't know they did as I was out of the room but trash was not emptied or enough towels left for a 3 person setup but managed to get xtra from housekeeper later.L.R. tv worked when it wanted and the remote would not change the channels, plus remodeling was going on with the kiddy side dumping the kids over into the adult pools and hot tubs.

Images are deceiving. There are 3 hotels in total. We got the small one with 5 floors.payednfor ocean view with a balcony and walkedninto a first floor room amd the only view was people sunbathing at the pool. I called the front desk and they said technically it is facing the ocen. They then told me it was all booled but somehow managed to move me to the 3rd floor. There was and empty bottle by thr air conditioner, clearly not cleaned well. The door lock was damaged and screws were off the hinges. They sent maintenance up amd the guy was amazing. Fixed it and did a great job. Hes the only reason i gave them 3 stars. Thr bed seemed clean but i wound up having an energetic reaction to whatever they clean their sheets with. My whole face got red and broke out. My friends booked there as well and had a equally bad experience. Very disappointed and all of this and wasnt offered any type of compensation.

Although we were very excited to come stay at carribean due to the positive reviews of others.The resort definitely fell flat. We came to this resort to celebrate and enjoy a nice relaxing honeymoon and had a less then satisfying stay. To start off after check in we were directed to the "help desk" to get "deals and coupons for the area" turns out it was just another hotel promoting the opening of their new hotel and trying to make us attend a meeting to tour. We waited 45mins in line at that desk all for that. Then when we walked up to the condos we were meet with a very dark almost apartment looking hallway and then when we got to our room our key scanner was basically broken which made it hard to get in and out of our room at times. The condo itself seemed fairly clean. Nice view from the balcony well at least until you look down and see all the trash on top of the roof of the pool and the camera pointing directly at our balcony. We also had maintenence issues fridge dethawed due to the setting it was set on before arrival. AC broke twice first time maintenence guy just came up put one of our towels in the ac and said ok thats good. 2nd guy who came fixed the issue. One of the bathtubs had a huge hole in the side so it was unusable. Never got fresh towels or blankets until last day.When asked about it we were told we have a washer and dyrer in our room.trash wasnt picked up unless i called. Then the adult pool area had kids in it all the time. This wasnt even all the bad.

Honestly, it was terrible. It was really dirty and broken and there was the previous tenants key card on the ground. We left and booked at another facility immediately. I’ll attach photos. But, I will say the staff member who contacted me regarding our immediate check out and refund, was amazingly lovely and issued the full refund.

There were roaches in my room in the Chelse building. The front bedroom balcony was unstable. Reported the roaches front desk lady said they everywhere.

When I booked I booked for an ocean view in the main building. Once getting to the location and checking in we were out in a completely different building.. Jamaica side. The elevator has mold in it (which me and my 6month old are allergic too) the room smelt musty and moldy, we both got sick while sleeping in the rooms because of it, we were not connected to the main building at all and it’s hard to get the baby over to the main building, shower water pressure was terrible (took over 10 minutes to get sand off because of how weak the pressure was), the fans for the kitchen were not working at all and some of the dishes were dirty and smelt musty and moldy. When I asked a hotel front desk person about why we were in a different building she was rude and stated she would “look into it” and I never heard another word about it. My $100 deposit was never given back to me either. If I could rate this place 0 stars I 100% would. I will never bring my family here again.

Loved the room but we got locked out. The fab key did not work the next morning.

I heard a lot of people complaining when I arrived but I didn’t want that to interfere with my experience bc I know how some people can be. my room was nice. Updates are definitely needed but I liked the time I spent there and I’m pretty picky.

This property needs some upgrading but for the price it was a good deal. The beds are very firm not much mattress there. The main door in and out of the hotel slams shut definitely needs attention. Also the trim around the bottom of the wall was torn lose exposing some grossness. But the amenities and location was a plus here. Lots of fun for the kids. The beach wasnt overcrowded and had plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Right next door and across the street.

All the years of coming to myrtle beach, this is my first experience with being traumatized to even sleep after visibly seeing roaches in my room. I stressed every day with the fear of taking unwelcomed creepy crawlers home with us. My level of disappointment is honestly unmeasurable.

Nice room with everything you would need. Nice views, several pools and plenty of beachfront to enjoy.
