Very comfortable, good breakfast and nearby the main atractions at the Old City, includding the St. Mary church with Christmas Market was a pleasure surprise for us. We had just stayed 2 days for visiting Auschwitz. It wasn’t enough to explore all the best that Krakow has. Certainly, in another opportunity in Krakow, we will return to Amber Hotel.

The hotel is super clean, the ladies at the reception very helpful and we were very happy with the breakfast. Walking distance to most of Krakow atractions. We would definitely stay there again!

Within walking distance of the city center, and many attractions. The free breakfast was delicious with a variety of warm and cold options. The bed was comfortable. Good value for the money.

Lovely room, great location and friendly staff

The staff were so friendly and helpful! We visited on a holiday and they went above and beyond to have a lovely display for Easter over the long holiday weekend. Breakfast was delicious each morning.

Excellent hotel only 5 mins walk to town square. Spotlessly clean. Good large selection for the free breakfast. Very helpful staff too. Would recommend it for sure.

We arrived late evening and were disappointed in our initial room as it had been made up as a single, we had to contact the reception on a couple of occasions regarding the bed, bedding and facilities, however the night receptionist Krystian was exceptionally helpful and made things acceptable for the night and passed on our concerns to the day staff who changed our room and made the rest of our stay very enjoyable. Overall it is a beautiful building with all modern day amenities including a fitness room and sauna that we used on a couple of occasions. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety and again with staff that were very helpful. It is set in an ideal location within a 10 minute walk to most places of interest. Thank you for an enjoyable memorable stay.

The heating system doesn't work inpite of reporting to reception. Room is not cleaned. twin bed inspite of single large bed request.

The staff are very friendly, and very helpful with any questions related to the hotel or getting around Krakow. Checking in and out is very easy. The location is perfect as it's only a short walk to the busy areas, but it's still in a very quiet area. We had the window open all night and heard no outside noise. The bathroom size was very big, and was very clean. The were 2 minor issues - and I do mean minor, don't let this put you off booking a room here. It's a nice place. We had to ask for a remote to change the room temperature as there is no panel on the wall. And the rooms have a physical key rather than a keycard. Maybe this adds to the charm of the hotel, but it does mean having another item you need to carry on your trip.

A very nice hotel. Small but clean room, well equipped bathroom. Nice and helpful staff. Walking distance (5 minutes) from old city centre. We didn't eat at the hotel so no review on that. Only downpoint was that the airconditioning in our room wasn't working. It was 26 dgr. outside and the room was situated under the roof, so it was quite warm. Staff mentioned that they would get it fixed ASAP and offered us a different room. We were leaving that day so we didn't need to take them up on the offer. Overall a very pleasant place to stay in a beautiful city.

Amazing

A noisy hotel with noisy guests but, critically, almost no soundproofing between rooms. The hotel did respond to our calls on various nights (about 3:00am usually) to ask guests in multiple rooms to keep quiet which was appreciated. We got the impression that the noise wouldn't have been a problem if the rooms were better soundproofed. Just to add, at two breakfast sittings during our stay, we overheard at least two other guests making a similar complaint and they received the same response we did "sorry about that, we will speak to the other guests, they will be checking out today" etc. We booked the hotel because it isn't too close to the main square so it should have been quiet. Shame because the hotel is in a good location for trams and it is well presented.

Very loud during evening hours. Complained and they said they were sorry. Did not help.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Krakow. Special thanks to Kamila who booked my tours and was so nice to deal with , nothing was an issue , provided excellent customer service and well done. Katarzyna was also so helpful and making sure I felt comfortable and happy during my visit, always up for a laugh thank you Danuta was also helpful and so nice to deal with, double checking that my taxi was booked for and early morning pick up and offering me an early morning breakfast box I also saw a few more people at the front reception that came across as being lovely to deal with but didn't get their names, not forgetting the lovely cleaning ladies and breakfast staff. Again, I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone visiting Krakow. Again thanks to the brilliant staff, the hotel is so lucky to have you. Will visit again next year. Keep up the good work. Good location, very close to the old market square.

Great room for the price, friendly and accommodating staff, close to old town, restaurants and bars, and all other amenities.

I would definitely return to Amber hotel because of the amazing service from all the wonderful receptionists especially Anna and Marta. The room is very clean and dustless. Nice bathroom with bath/shower. The free cherry vodka in the room with complimentary bottle of water and tea/coffee making facilities is a very nice touch. Umbrellas are also provided which was a dream when we were there with the constant rain. The hotel is 3 stars but feels like a 4 star accommodation with a small gym and a sauna / shower in the basement for individual use because of corona. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The hotel location is perfect and 15 mins walk from the main Krakow Glowny railway station which is also a big shopping mall with a food court on the top floor. Glowny is a 25 mins ride from Krakow airport for only 12 Zolty or £2.40. Don’t bother with a taxi (£25 approx) if your hotel is in the centre. The main square is 10 mins walk from the hotel and is worth a visit with so many restaurants, bars and historical buildings. I would definitely return to this hotel and beautiful Krakow. One thing I have noticed is the constant short change when eating in restaurants and being charged incorrectly so check your bills.

breakfast was very good, the cherry vodka in the crystal decanter with glasses in the room was a lovely touch.The two bottles of water put in the room every day was very helpful. The communal areas of the hotel were useful. All was very good

Very nice hotel just a couple of minutes from the old town. All the staff spoke. English and were very helpful. Breakfast was very good plenty to choose from. Room was small but very clean. We had a small balcony which was nice. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was very close to the Old Town, an easy walk from Krakow Glowny railway station, so great if you are travelling by train from the airport. My room was on the 1st floor at the front of the building, double glazing was amazing, you could not hear the street noise! Breakfast was quite limited, on our 2nd morning the bread rolls were like bricks, I think they were the leftovers from the previous day🙄 But that didn't really affect our stay. Eating out is very cheap, so treat yourself to breakfast elsewhere. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel Amber was great! The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast delicious. The best part is the location. Close to the Square and a lot of mass transit.
