Great hotel in London excellent location. Would have been wonderful if it had a pool.

Excellent experience. I was impressed with everyone I interacted with from reception & the extra help navigating town, to servers at breakfast eager to make me cappuccino or freshly squeezd orange juice & the manager of the bistro who catered to my special request & celebrated with me my success at passing my open water PADI scuba certification. It's a beautiful place with exceptional people!

This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel might be just perfect without a fifth star - I wouldn't want the extremely reasonable prices to go up :)

Excellent location, beautiful building and exceptional service. The economy room was very spacious with a large bathroom. Highly recommend.

Quite basic for a 4 star hotel, not as nice looking as many other over been to. Wi-Fi is horrible, almost non existent

The hotel was centrally located in an area with many bars and restaurants and there was a lot of nightlife around. It was walking distance to several of the major tourist spots such as the cathedral etc. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet, nice lobby and nice classic hotel room wooden furniture etc. good cleaning, good service and a very nice hotel in general.

Was a good hotel, nice building but the service and the breakfast was not good. Totally empty at the breakfast and no people there, we asked to have the car until 17:00 the day of checking out. Was still half empty at the parking space when we got our car back at 16:00, they refused to let us have it there until 17:00 even though the price of the parking was €18 and lots of space.

Comfortable old hotel. Great area and beautiful. I’m on spaces. Standard rooms need renovation.

The property was an old bank, evidence of old safety deposit boxes and fault doors. The enclosed courtyard was normally open to the elements, partial closed for shade in the afternoon. Very pleasant seating area with piano player in the evening. Everywhere was clean. Room was small, clean and functional. Short walk to main eating area, and sea front

Beautiful hotel, very helpful and nice staff

The staff was outstanding! Would stay there again if we’re in the area. The things that we didn’t like were: The speaker in the bathroom was very annoying. Anytime you had the television on It was blaring in the bathroom. Bathtub was probably 6 inches taller than most bathtubs and very dangerous. There was a half wall for the shower portion, but it did not have a curtain so it was always water on the floor when you finished. The bathtub/shower was very dangerous and slippery. Actually my girlfriend fell the first day there getting out of the shower/bathtub very slippery floor in the tub and getting out of the tub on the marble floor. Also the bathtub drain needed to be cleaned because as you were showering, the water could run run out quick enough so you would be usually standing in 2 to 3 inches of water every time you took a shower. The breakfast area was unbelievable. The only negative was that the eggs even though we’re in a warmer they were always cold! The staff in the breakfast area were unbelievable. Also like to mention that the staff that made up the rooms were very friendly and did a very good job. We would stay there again.

The hotel, with the beautiful courtyard, is very elegant and old world style. Great area for eating and shopping. Staff was very good. Room was big, nice. Great A/C. Breakfast was very good. Only thing that was bad was the Internet. Dropped off constantly. Very frustrating.
