Awesome staff that went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even made a call for us to the rental car place. Great breakfast and parking, both free/included. I think the pillows could be updated but the bed and room were all we needed. I highly recommend this property!

Great guest house, great staff, great location only negative was that we were just unlucky that the people staying in the next room were up at 5.00am chatting and had the TV on extremely loudly

A very nice and very tidy B&B! The location was perfect for us - we were able to walk all over the old town and it was an easy walk from the train station. Super comfy beds and nice towels. It is an older townhouse with several floors, so no elevator- but that was expected. The hot English Breakfast was very good!

Loved our stay in the Ebor Suite. Quiet and secluded, with a bit more space and a dedicated parking spot too. Easy walk from York centre and the breakfast should not be missed. Lots to chose from and the bread was delicious. We would definitely book again if we return to York.

Lovely rooms, very clean, TV kinda in wrong place and high up. Walls a bit thin ie could easily hear other people. Breakfast very good and friendly staff

Lovely guest house which is half a mile walk from city centre. Very nice area. We were on 2nd floor. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Parking was reserved for us and lucky to find a space just around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again if we come back to York.

Had a lovely stay at St Raphael in York. Friendly helpful staff and a fantastic breakfast. Room had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable. Great position for walking to the various museums, river, pubs and restaurants.

Easy as with booking through expedia. Instructions for parking very ckear. Parking and breakfast included. Very quiet area but only a short walk to york minster. Staff amazingky lovely. Clean comfortable quiand reasonable. Definitely recommend

Lovely room and plenty of choice for continental breakfast,cooked breakfast was superb and gave you a good start to the day. Staff helpful and accommodating. Good situation for the train station and near to the city centre,overall a very good stay.

Lovely bed & breakfast with short walk to town.

Great stay. Limited times for breakfast but actually worked out well for us. Parking was great, would just have been good to know before arrival to avoid us having to more car after check in, great to have free parking all the same. Hotel in great location for town centre

A lovely, friendly place that really makes you feel at home! For the price the value for money is fantastic; decent size bedroom with en-suite (and a great shower!), free parking and a hearty breakfast with plenty of options. The location is great - roughly a 10 minute walk into town. Staff were all so helpful and gave lots of recommendations for things to do, plus we had home-made banana bread ready on arrival! I would definitely stay again :)

Words like charming, English, lovely, wonderful, great location best describe Saint Raphael Guest House. Even more, you must know the staff, especially the manager, Danny, are amazing. They take care of you, always helpful, bright, cheerful and knowledgeable. They can suggest everything from must-see places in York to fit your timetable to must-visit places for dinner, etc. By the way, breakfast is over the top!

Booked for one night and was able to check in and leave the car from 11am in one of the designated parking spaces close to b&b .The b&b is close to york centre easy walking distance , there was everything in the room we needed and it was adequate for a small double room . Unfortunately we experienced an issue in the early hours of the morning which resulted in us checking out and leaving , as nobody lived on site , we felt we didnt have much option . We did receive a phone call first thing in the morning from the manager very apologetic and reassured us the problem would be resolved. We are slightly disappointed to right a negative review as the rating was excellent for St Raphael , so was looking forward to our break away . Disappointed not to get to sample the great looking breakfast that everyone mentions .

Go to York every year just to relax before Christmas. Place was perfect for us both and we have booked up already for next year to come back to this lovely guest house

Our stay was fabulous

The parking is free but space is also limited. We lucked out and snagged a great spot. The hotel is so close to town we walked everywhere and never moved the car again. Breakfast was great, the room clean, and the neighborhood safe and easy to walk to all the attractions.

It was easy to find easy to park room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were great 👍👍👍
