The hotel was nice. Close to restaurants and shops. Lots of bars around so if you’re looking for quiet this is not the place. Loud into the wee hours. Breakfast was tasty. All in all, good value.

Great small hotel conveniently situated on the edge of the old town. Plenty of restaurants near by and the main sites are an easy stroll through the pedestrian area. Only a short walk to the train station for buses and trains to the airport. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent, particularly if you like Italian cakes.

The room was beautiful, large and clean. The shower ran out of hot water after 5 minutes everyday of my stay. It was noisy in the mornings and the noise was caused by doors slamming shut and cleaning. One morning it started at 740am and that, coupled with loud music blasting at night from a local bar really affected my sleep. Also the rooftop patio had no furniture. For the price point, I would stay elsewhere.

Hot water for shower was not sufficient. After a short time the water got cold. And we had a room with minimum daylight. Breakfast and bed was fantastic

I felt very safe at this hotel. It’s light and bright and has a very nice breakfast. The gal that serves coffee in the morning is so pleasant. She made me feel very welcome. The hotel front desk employee always asked if I needed anything in my room. They are accommodating. This hotel is a very short walk to the main tourist street. Love the lift too! And I loved the juice machine. Lovely spread for breakfast. Need I say more?

This hotel is clean and provides everything you would need. There is nothing over the top about it but it is clean and safe. There was a bit of a weird smell in the elevator and hallways but the room was fine.

Very close to the fish market restaurant area. Walking distance to key city centre. But the address on Expedia not very accurate. Valet parking $20 is ok. Yet our room when check in at 8pm is full of order refreshener that is too strong to bear.

If you are American, you probably have an impression of Best Western as a pretty mediocre hotel chain. This is NO Best Western! The Hotel Principe de Lampedusa is just marvelous. We had a classic triple room, which was very spacious, had very high ceilings, travertine marble floors, a nice sized bathroom and our own small, private patio. AC and shower work great. Mini fridge too (although not too cold). It was very quiet. The room and rest of the hotel are immaculate. It looks brand new. The breakfast is excellent. Staff were available 24/7, always friendly and able to answer questions. They also arranged a car for us to the airport at 4:20am that was 10E cheaper than what Uber was offering. The location cannot be beat! You are 3-minutes walk from Cuatro Canti (Four Corners), where there are TONS of restaurants, bars and shops. 5-minutes walk from the marina, 5-minutes from the Ballero and Vucceria markets, 7-10 minutes from the Cathedral. Net, pretty much everything you want to do in this city is within easy walking distance, yet, it is located on a small plaza a bit off the main drag that, despite some of the other reviews, we did not find loud or boisterous. We stayed in four different places on this trip and this hotel was probably our biggest upside surprise. It was a truly great stay all around.

The hotel was perfectly located in the centre of the city. The hotel property and room were clean and well organized. The breakfast in the morning was great. The staff was friendly and they helped us with dinner recommendations and calling a taxi for transportation to the airport. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we would choose to stay here again. Highly recommend.

The hotel was great. Room superb. Clean, spacious, well provided for. Breakfast was extensive in the Italian way, great fresh coffee. Slight niggle was adjacent noise from washing machines overnight, especially on spin cycle, enough to wake us.

Nice friendly clean hotel

Beautiful hotel, lovely and comfy room at the back which was very quiet (we’d heard some rooms could pick up a lot of street noise). The hotel is well situated in the centre of Palermo, easy to get to from the airport bus and perfect for exploring, everything was reachable on foot. Staff were lovely and quick to help when asked. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again should we come back to Palermo.

Very nice hotel But the rooms faced loud streets. Nevertheless, the hotel quickly fixed this problem by moving us to quiet rooms.

Super clean, elegant hotel. Only detraction was noise: it seems young revelers like to sing outside after the bars close.

Small friendly hotel, excellent location for sights, dinner and nightlife

Our experience was amazing! The hotel was located in the heart of the old city and was within walking distance of all major sites. The room and hotel were in mint condition and everything worked. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and staff was excellent!
