Me encantó la ubicación porque iba a la universidad EAFIT a un congreso. Básicamente duermes en la uni, que además es preciosa. El barrio es bonito y se siente seguro. Pude ir a correr a la universidad todos los días, al gym y a su pista asi como por el campus. Además está cerca de la carretera que tu Uber puede tomar para subir al poblado. La host pilar es amable y son relajados. Luisa quien era la chica que atendía a los huéspedes es super amable. Pude lavar mi ropa por un costo, lo cual fue buen recibido. Las áreas comunes son bonitas! Fue una buena razón por la cual el viaje a Medellin será inolvidable.

No encontré restaurantes super cerca, pero los del poblado por provenza están deliciosos así que vale la pena tomar uber hacia allá. El cuarto no tiene ventanas, pero si vas solo a dormir está bien y si quieres trabajar, se trabaja muy bien en las áreas comunes.

Es muy acogedor, limpio y el personal muy amable, recomendado al 💯

The house is very nice, recently renovated and clean. Very modern and confortable.

It’s a bit outside El Poblado but not a big issue with Uber that it costs very little. You always need to go by uber at night or metro during the day. They say they give you something for breakfast but that is not true, just saying

Was a bit misleading to say breakfast/morning snacks available. There was coffee and a stack of cheese slices in the fridge, but no bread or anything else listed.

Super clean, incredibly friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Casa Medallo is the perfect location if you want to have the right dose between meeting some people and feeling at home and being comfortable.

The staff is extremely friendly and beyond, they recognize you even for your name. The snack “breakfast” is actually really good. And the BED! Is a 5 ⭐️ hotel. Everything clean!

They gave me the wrong number to access to my room, and the price for Colombian standards is expensive, taking in account that the only available is a living room and a patio. Maybe the price was for “Feria de las Flores”

The noise in the morning, at the window was next to the package store. The door was to thin, so all the lobby noise was very loud, so I didn’t rest at all

Clean, beautiful, new, well cared for…. I can keep going - I’ve traveled for over 20 years. This property is a true 5 star at a 2 star price. Highly recommend.

This place was awesome! The staff are so friendly and attentive. The place is nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. This spot exceeded my expectations!

Luisa is a gracious host. Casa Medallo is close to everything but also a tranquil escape.A great alternative to the cold, impersonal apartment buildings common in Medellin.

My room code stopped working, and I was locked out for almost an hour which was extremely disappointing.

We have been travelling for 3 months and this was the nicest place we have stayed. So clean and modern, the kitchen was great and the house is decorated beautifully. I would definitely recommend. It felt like luxury!!

Not too much around, except a shopping centre, and a drive away from El Poblado. But was still convenient for us. You can easily get a quick uber anywhere you want!

The guesthouse is really attractively designed and decorated and my bedroom was one of the most comfortable of any I've stayed in so far in Colombia.

The breakfast isn't great. Really limited options with only processed meat and cheese available (some real cheese would have been good). Real bakery bread and some fresh fruit would have made a difference as well.

This was a fabulous stay! The room was a good size, with the most comfortable large bed we stayed in on our trip. The upkeep of the room and the house was very good. There was an outdoor covered kitchen / dining area which again was very pleasant. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The place is in a quiet and nice residential area

The only downside is the location in terms of proximity to El Poblado metro stop, and the centre of el poblado with the restaurants and shops. Its a long walk or short taxi ride from both. This actually suited us fine as it was a much quieter area, but worth bearing in mind

When we booked the room it seemed that the washing machine & dryer were in the room itself and free of charge but this is not the case, they are in the common areas & have a cost of 30000 cop for washing and drying. both machines are of great quality. we would have appreciated a drying rack as some clothes we wanted to wash were not dryer friendly

Very beautiful house, loved the interior! One of the cleanest places we have stayed at. It's very good they have a kitchen you can use, also during the day there is someone there to help you with check-in, laundry service,... . Very fast response of the owner on booking. Also the location is great, only 5min walk from the metro station.

The hosts were amazing! The rooms are well clean, the bed is so comfortable, and the decorations are unique with a lot of Colombian handicrafts. Close to the metro's station by 3 minutes walking, and also to Provenza, parque lleras, Manila by 8-12 minutes on taxi. My husband and I love there. The photos are real (looks better in person than in photos), regretted not being booked for a longer stay in Medellin. Highly recommend it!

Casa Medallio is a beautiful home away from home. Great space to rest, and good for those needing to do a bit of work. Very safe and we walked to many places from there. The hosts were lovely and met all our needs.

We stayed in the front room and if you open the blinds, then people could see in. It would have been nice to have something else on the windows for privacy. Some eggs and fruits with breakfast would have been awesome and made this a perfect 10.

The amenities are great, the staff is friendly, they offer a nice little breakfast and laundry for 3$ (they dry and fold for you). The location is great too.

Noise cancellation is horrible. My room was next to the common outside area and I could hear everything that was going on there. We also had some young guys staying there, they were partying and having loud chats every night. Out of 4 nights, I only managed to sleep 1 night (only because they were out partying elsewhere). The staff tried talking to them but it didn't help. Also, they were smoking outside and my room would smell like cigarettes too. If you allow to smoke, then isolate the windows better. This ruined my experience as literally did not manage to rest on my vacation.

This was the first place my boyfriend and I stayed in Medellin. It was also our first time in Colombia. Carlos & Pillar (& their daughters) are amazing hosts. I had to do some work during our stay - which I had a desk in the room, as well as plenty of space to utilize outside of it. The wifi was fantastic - as I had A lOT of zoom calls. They spent a generous amount of time showing us the facilities, giving tons of suggestions on where to eat, places to visit & even recommendations for other cities. They were incredibly helpful, kind & engaging. The community of guests & staff were also fantastic - super friendly & respectful. Other things to note...the beds were large & comfortable. We never ran out of hot water despite many guests. The aesthetic was beautiful. There is a great local place within 2 mins of walking with an amazing breakfast & lunch. Super close to the metro too. And we felt safe in the area. Overall this space was a quiet, comfortable home to return to at the end of our adventures each day.
