We had a great stay! The home was very comfortable, the street was quiet and the location was great - close to where we needed to go, plus close to restaurants and shopping. The travel crib and the high chair were very appreciated!

I was in Des Moines for a week for appointments with my son. I stayed for 5 nights. I had my 5 year old and 8 year old with me. The house was a perfect size for us.
The kitchen had all the tools I needed for making meals. The beds are the foam temperpedic type. A bit too firm for me but that it a personal preference. The kids slept great on it. The rooms have black out curtains which is one reason I chose this house. So many houses have no curtains or thin ones. I need dark when I sleep! The kids enjoyed the play fort and swings. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. It was close to grocery stores. I looked at many properties in Des Moines area before choosing this house. It had more charm and a yard.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Cute house. Nice quiet dead end street with very quick and easy access to main roads. Our only complaints were the foam mattresses only because we are seniors and they are so difficult to turn over in. Thank you Ali for your quick responses ! FYI: don’t lock the door from the inside when you leave. Only lock the door with the combination the same way you unlock it.

The place was absolutely perfect, very clean and on a quiet street. The only thing was the Internet wasn't really working nor could we get the TV to work, but it wasn't necessary for our stay. Just something I thought we would mention to have looked at!

This house was perfect for our family. Along with having some baby proofing (outlet plugs and stair gates), they also had a pack n play and high chairs! Along with kids toys and more! Will definitely be our go-to VRBO when visiting family!

We had a nice quick stay with family! The home was very clean, nice and homey feeling and loved the games in the tv cabinet for the kids! Plenty of towels and bedding was very comfortable. Would probably rent again.

Cute house with fun decor! We were in town to visit my daughter at Drake and this home was close enough to get to campus quickly and provided enough space for our family to gather. The check-in and out process was super easy and the host was very responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again!

We wanted to be close to downtown for a short drive to the Botanical Gardens and Des Moines Art Center, and in a neighborhood where we felt safe. This home met those expectations. It's in a quiet spot (dead-end street) and even has an apple tree in the back yard.

Super cute place. The décor was fun and retro, the paintings on the walls were neat. Bed was comfy and I liked how on the tv if you logged into any of your streaming services it would log you out upon your departure. Only negative comment is the grass and the front flower beds were both overgrown and hanging over the sidewalk.

Apples were ripe on the tree when we stayed. Backyard play place is a little worn but works for something to get kids outaide in the evenings. Linens were clean, dishwasher works. Overall a great place to stay while in Des Moines.

We loved this cozy little house. It had everything we needed and more. The space was clean, comfortable and well stocked with the essentials and loved having plenty of pillows and blankets. Centrally located in Des Moines and easy to get wherever you need to go. Everything went smooth with checking in. We had 4 adults and it was very comfortable.

Came down for my mothers birthday. It was a beautiful house to stay in. Owners were available. Beds very comfy, easy check in and check out. It was nice having off street parking available. Would recommend staying here and would stay again.
