Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Perfect location to activities.

Walk thru restaurant to get to hotel stairs.

I struggled to get my bags down the narrow staircase. Bedroom was very small

Twin beds when double bed was selected on booking app. Large brown stain on the carpet Bizarre smell in the room Shower ran cold for both guests Tap in bathroom connected incorrectly and splashes out water aggressively damaging clothes Noise in the alley late at night. Premises advised we could have a free drink for the inconvenience that we ended up having to pay for..... Requested 20% off the bill because of all of the issues. Refused. Offered 15% off on next stay which I would never do again. The cost is far too high for this level of accommodation and service.

The location is fabulous--great to be a little off the beaten track, yet within walking distance of the Roman ruins, museums, restaurants, and shops.

We were there during a heat wave, and as a 300-year-old inn, there was no AC, which we knew going in. The staff provided a fan, which made our stay bearable. So not a fault to the inn but keep in mind when looking at your dates.

The staff and pub itself are great

The room, although clean and comfortable is not worth the £140 that we paid, far to small and items not working, TV and coffee machine.
