Stayed one night during a bit of a snow storm. Woman and the front desk, Jessica I think, was extremely friendly offering some tips on restaurants that deliver in the area. Room was clean and breakfast was excellent.

This is a great place to stay. Rooms are clean, breakfast was great. However I was awakened several times by a barking dog in the hallway. I don’t want barking dogs in the hotel. Very poor sleep.

Good breakfast, heater was very loud at night. 2nd night we unplugged it and slept great. I would say all on all better then any others we have stayed in around the area. Staff was great!

Very convenient location since it is super close to the expressway going southbound 75 and the fort. Not far from the downtown. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

It wasn’t bad. We were put near the main lobby area so we were woken up a bit earlier than we had wanted. Other guests were pretty loud as well. Overall, very nice place! Just wish we were a bit further away from the main lobby

The hotel was clean, fresh smelling. Stayed 2 days. The staff was very friendly. The bed & pillows were very good/comfortable. The 2 queen room was quite large and worked out great for our 13 mo grandson. Highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again!! The pool was awesome!

I liked the king suite. Fireplace, etc. What I did not like was the height of the toilets. Felt as though I was sitting on the floor. What is with that? Also, upon arriving the toilet was running. Did not flush well., Maintenance fixed it immediately upon calling though. Get rid of the child toilets and put in adult ones !

We paid for a suite and got a standard room after waiting for two hours after check in time. When we asked for a remedy we got a lot of attitude from the front desk. Breakfast was insufficient and the hotel is not that cute for the price. The cleaning staff was amazing though and were trying to do their best on a busy weekend.

We were in Mackinaw City for the Labor Day Bridge Run. Although it stings a little to pay very high prices for a mid-range hotel, I get it. It’s a popular tourist area during one of the busiest weekends of the summer…
One of the things I appreciate about Holiday Inn Express is the consistency from location to location. This property is working on remodeling/upgrading rooms, it was very clean, breakfast was what we needed to start our day, it’s close (within walking distance) to food and activities, etc. In addition, I would like to commend the staff and their exceptional service. I experienced and also observed several of them check-in guests, answer questions, and handle every encounter with the utmost level of courtesy and professionalism. They did a fantastic job handling the full-house on this exceptionally busy weekend. Thank you!
