Great accommodations and staff. I am a fan. The street noise on 5th Street continues throughout the night. Not much to do about that, except stay on other side, high enough to escape the HVAC drone.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for many years, and it never disappoints! The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the views are absolutely amazing. One of the highlights of my visits is the incredible service provided by the doormen—they are professional, welcoming, and go above and beyond to ensure guests feel cared for. This level of hospitality is rare and truly sets this hotel apart. I’ll continue to return for many years to come. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at The Kimberly Hotel for one night during our visit to NYC. The hotel was excellent from start to finish! Our King Suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, and very classy. Service at the hotel was top-notch, and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a cheese and fruit plate since we were celebrating our anniversary! We will definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future.

It was an amazing trip with family to start the holiday season.

I had spilled water on the bed, housekeeping made the bed with wet sheets. I requested extra towels and ice from the front desk. I came back to my room 4 hours later and the request was not fulfilled. When it was fulfilled it was not 4 sets of towels. It was some of this and some of that. I requested more hand soap and they left me shower gel. I stayed at the hotel 3 months before on a higher floor. The refrigerator had the ability to make ice in the ice trays. The responses to requests 3 months ago were timely and accurate. Unfortunately, I don’t see any reason to have a return stay at this hotel.

The Kimberly was a wonderful find. The staff were beyond wonderful. The elevators were not functioning well which was a bit annoying. The only thing that could be better was the restaurant food. it was very ordinary.

Unfortunately, the people in a nearby room enjoyed their balcony until 3 am. The room was not soundproof at all so we heard their loud party along with every siren going by. Even though the bed was comfortable, the loud noise throughout the night kept us from getting much sleep. I will make a different choice the next time I am in the city.

We had a one bedroom suite for a family of 4. It was lovely to have the space. The sofabed was spacious enough for our children. The location of the hotel was great for walking around Midtown and also for the subway to get downtown. Hotel staff were really polite and friendly. We had dinner at Bistango on the first night. It was nice all items on the menu could be made gluten free. We found the portions quite small though, so we definitely needed 4 main meals for the 4 of us, whereas when we went to the New York Luncheonette next door we only needed 3 mains between us. The hotel only has single glazing on its windows which means we could hear the road noise even on the 20th floor. We looked out on to 50th Street, and with the police precinct on 51st Street, we could hear all the sirens - late at night and early in the morning. We also heard the constant hooting by impatient New York drivers as well. The air conditioning unit was also loud so we couldn't really leave it on overnight. New York was unseasonally warm (26C) at the end of October, so the combination of the thick duvet, warm room and noisy air con meant that we didn't really sleep well during our 6-night stay.

The Kimberly was the exact experience I’d hoped for. Great location, not far from touristy things, but everything one needs is also close by. As a woman alone I felt safe, the rooms are well equipped and clean, the staff very friendly, and room service is a big plus. Loved the experience and I will go back! — Came From Oregon

I am a very regular guest at The Kimberly and love the place. I stay here once or twice a month. Many of the rooms are suites with balconies, which is lovely. Even the single rooms are large and relatively spacious. The bedding is first rate so a good nights sleep. Lovely rooftop bar restaurant for breakfast or nightcap. Two other restaurants on the premises Bistango and Empire Steak house, the latter being my go to This is by far my favorite hotel in the City. I probably should not be telling my secret lest it become difficult to get reservations, but I really do think the place is great.

Everything was great, except for the slippery bathtub. Felt like we were "ice skating" every time we took showers. Staff were very helpful and nice. Highly recommend The Kimberly.
