I read the reviews online (negative) but the photos looked good- Plus other places were really expensive so we booked it anyway. The hotel is very outdated- Bathroom floor was dirty (soiled so could have been scrubbed clean) , They never changed our sheets- just made the bed and changed towels. Staff were very friendly but service was poor. We ordered some drinks and we expected to get the drinks in about an hour ( fiji time) but One hour later they come and tell us the drinks are not available and we need to order something else. The swipe card stopped working and they had to change the battery on the lock. ( This can happen anytime so we were just unfortunate) Overall these points made me score them negatively. - Slow overall service - DIrty and outdated - Golf course is out of date - never saw anyone playing there - The private road leading up to the hotel is full of potholes - Breakfast is the same every morning. - The birds attack the omelette station outside so do use the spoons provided there. - minor inconvenience- the bathroom mirror is not in front of the hand basin so difficult for wet shaving. On the positive it was cheaper compared to a lot around that area so you could say you get what you pay for !!

The location was good. Walking distance to a supermarkets and Jack’s, and close to the airport. The room was very tired. Beds were clean and comfortable but the air conditioning was extremely loud and we couldn’t control the temperature. It was dimly lit and the ranch slider outside seemed rattly and unsafe. The bathroom was old, but clean. The sliding, frosted door didn’t close properly and the shower leaked water everywhere. Rubbish bins weren’t lined and there was no water jug in fridge. We dined in the restaurant in the evening. They had a great band but the volume was too loud to chat over. Staff continuously ignored us, and our two course meal took two hours! Breakfast was amazing, but then there was no water in our room after that. We talked to reception twice about it and they didn’t even offer free drinking water. Luckily we had had our showers before and checked out after. If you do stay there make sure you ask about all the activities. Reception gave us no information about where the pool table etc were. They just weren’t that welcoming to us. We have stayed in old resorts where the staff make the difference. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case at the Novotel. The porters were great as were the Breakfast team but next time we shall stay somewhat else.

Conveniently close to airport. Great staff, bedroom was modern and spacious, the bathroom looked a bit run down. Shower rail and bath spout very loose, everything worked but some maintenance will be helpful. Great food, jumped on the local bus and had so much fun going into Nadi. We have stayed at Novotel Nadi multiple times and I would recommend this for a stopover close to the airport.

Based on Novotel reviews in Chandigarh, India and Melbourne, Australia I had booked the hotel in Nadi, Fiji. However, the amenities and services in the room provided were below expectations despite booking an Executive Room. 1. No proper lighting in the room. Only bedside lamps and making the room more gloomy. 2. The condition of the toilet and bathroom was horrible. Even though the cleaning was done on daily bases. Flush system was broken and water kept leaking. No shower caps available for females. The shower area and toilet area built poorly and water drainage wasn’t that great. The water used to overflow and had to be dried using towels. 3. I understand water bottles cost extra in the room, however, at least provide a jug of water how can someone fill a glass of water to drink from a washbasin where you wash hands after using toilet.

Staff were friendly but room was hot A/ C didn’t work and maintenance didn’t respond back to repair and when I complained to the front desk all I got was sorry. Seems to be common with this property
