Our favorite spot is the jacuzzi. It could be kept cleaner. Food choices were too limited unless you were in the higher end restaurants which did not have an ocean view. Why aren’t they on the view side? That’s why you go to Laguna.

You can’t beat the views and amenities here. If you’re looking for quiet and relaxation this is not the place. Garden view rooms have the fire pits and also the multiple outdoor hosted events all week and weekend long. Constant set up outside your room blocking views and creating extra noise from sun up to sundown. Other room views are poolside, also quite noisy. I’d ask what corporate events and weddings will be outside your doorstep before booking.
Rooms are getting tired, carpet is dirty, drapes are soiled bathrooms are water stained.
Staff is EXCEPTIONAL! food choices are great.

The staff was very professional also it was our anniversary and they put chocolate dipped strawberries along with a bottle of champagne in our room very classy.

The phones did not work , shower stripping working so leaked all over the bathroom floors and rug was dirty and outdated. Room was warm and I got rashes from Deb bugs or laundry detergent but it was unpleasant. I’ll definitely stay at the Montage moving forward

Property is lovely, the food however was not what we expected- the best food was in the outdoor dining venue,
The staff was not able to resolve an issue with the TV when we called it in three times. We had an another issue with the balcony door, the technician was helpful and was able to address the TV.

We had an amazing experience at this resort. The staff is very accommodating. Their hospitality was the best and will definitely come back. I did have a serious issue that i would like to address. After leaving my car with the valet, they somehow left the headlights on for hours that it drained my battery. Coincidently my daughter needed something from the car and thats how they noticed. They had to give it a jump start and i was able to use it the next day. If it wasnt that i needed something it would had a dead battery the next day at check-out. Im so disappointed this happened because it cause a huge inconvenience due to having to reprogram my fob key which cost me time and money. I dont think I would do valet again.
