The hotel was nice and good area. But they could have told us they were doing some renovation right now the hall from our room. The hallway was gross and smelled awful but the room was nice.

The woman who registered us was not particularly friendly. The bathroom was tiny with a sink outstanding of the bathroom. The sliding door to the bathroom was completely broken and could not be closed so there was no privacy.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Also very quiet and convenient to shopping centers. The staff that I came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful.

Room needed maintenance. Breakfast lacked milk and orange juice, and they were not refilled even after staff was notified. Biscuits ran out before guests were served. Breakfast area needed cleaning.

Everything was good until i saw a big dog going inside the rooms.

The check in employee was very difficult to understand due to a language barrier. Upon entering my room, it smelled like stale cigarettes and cigarette smoke. Even after spraying air freshener it was extremely strong. I ended up leaving due to the smell and going to a different hotel to stay.

My name is M A. I go to Winston for cancer treatment. I have Multiple Myeloma Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Renal Kidney Failure. I checked in on 8-31-124. I was told i couldnt get what i requested. I needed a handicap accessible room as im wheelchair dependent. So i had to sleep on the Floor in room 216. The very next morning at 9:31am i called the front desk to be moved into an accessible room. We didn't get moved until the second shift came on. The accessible room 119 was filled with flying insects. They got on all of our food as we tried to eat. All in the lobby and hallway. Even an employee complained about them. A desk clerk name starting with K has a serious problem with how ugly she treats guests. The older short lady thinks its alright to talk trash about her coworker to guest. They moved us back upstairs on our last night there wbere i ended up back on the floor in room 224. John was the only desk clerk who actually had a positive attitude and was very accommodating to the guest. I reached out to the Choice brand abd the owner. The owner never called or text me back. This is like the movie Get Out. The location was perfect for my husband to walk and get us food. And for the Cancer Center.

The room smelled like dirty socks. The bathroom pocket door was jammed and covered in grime from people trying to get out/in. The automatic double doors to exit the hotel were sticking, and you had to pull them apart to get out. After we went to the room and discovered the mess, I canceled my stay, and we stayed at another hotel.

Fridge didn’t work. Room smelled like dirty feet—I went out and bought a can of Lysol. Can’t expect luxury for the low price.

Upon entering the hotel, there was a strong smell of marijuana. I told the desk clerk to put me in a room away from the smell and any smoking area. To my surprise, the room we were placed in smelled like marijuana all night. I was forced to place towels on the floor to try and stop the smell from seeping in. I have a special needs child and it was very disheartening to have no way to stop the smell from coming in. I alerted the desk clerk and wrote to the property while still checked in but I have received no response.

They are doing construction so there was noise and paint fumes. The bathroom light wasnt working, the remote didnt have a back so the batteries kept falling out and the full breakfast was a joke. The only thing hot was biscuits and gravy and make your own waffle. Otherwise it was the norm of cold cereal, juice, coffee, apples, very small yogurt, bagels, toast and small muffins. I would not call that a full breakfast. There was more staff eating then customers. I would not recommend this place. I have stayed in much better.
