Excellent location and facility for an early morning flight

Have stayed in a capsule style hotel before. This was far more comfortable than previous ones. Really quiet. I ordered a breakfast which served as my wake up call for the early flight.

As usual very convenient, located in the basement of Gatwick Airport. However, you need to check on your fire alarm procedures! This time the alarm went off at about 04.45 A.M. There were a couple of employees running around and nobody seemed to have a clue about what to do. Firstly, there was no knock on the door to tell you to get out (and where to). Found an open side door and got out. Later on during the incident, no information, what was going on, was it a false alarm? And finally, no word about if it at one point was ok to return to one's room!!? Did so by accident when seeing some other evacuated people returning back in. I then guessed they had been told by someone it was all right.

In my previous stays at several hotels right at the airport, I had not known about YOTELAir. I understand the concept and I would recommend to my family and friends; I would say that it still would depend on the individual travelers’ preferences.
If I may share my own personal experiences, the cabin was a bit cold and as the guest (I was wearing cotton pajamas) I could not change the temperature. If not more towels, at least a bath mat (customized for this hotel) should be offered. But overall I was able to have the few hours of sleep I had intended to catch an early flight.

If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good.

Small pod room with a ledge to get up onto bed. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. It is for sleeping only. No room to open suitcase or sit and relax. but practical and sufficient. I have stayed here many times and it is convenient for early gatwick flights.

Staff are very very friendly and helpful. Someone at the desk 24 hours (made us coffee at 2am)
Had a very early flight, so really convenient. Easy shuttle to north terminal, as hotel is close to train.
Would recommend for a short stay, clean and functional.

Very convenient and comfortable stay. Rooms were small but had everything I needed for a short stay. Only negative is you can hear your neighbours but it didn’t disrupt the stay too much.

Pretty nice for a overnight stay . Just wished the hot water was not spoiled, resulting that I was not able to have instant noodle.

The in airport location is great. Previous day bag drop and only a very short walk to departures from the bedroom.

Really pleasantly surprised with my stay here, very clean, comfortable and quiet. With an early flight this really took the stress away for me. Plenty of places to get something to eat and drink.
