Staff, location, cleanliness, and gym were all great. Room decor could use updating compared to other Hilton properties, and some plugs didn’t work in the room. Even though it’s right next to the train, noise was not a problem at all.

Our stay at TheWit was very enjoyable. We were on the 17th floor and yhe view was fabulous! We had a side view of the Chicago river. The room was clean, the mattress was soft, and the pillows were down-filled. Our suite had a large shower with modern fixtures. The location was perfect close to several local attractions such as The Bean at Millennium Park, the riverwalk and boat cruises. The staff were very welcoming. Staff provided us with extra items, such as bottles of waters. The only downside is housekeeping - our room was never cleaned during our stay. Ultimately, we would stay at TheWit again

We had a wonderful anniversary stay at TheWit! We had a corner, river view rom and it was amazing. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel was great. We ate late night dinner there one night, ordered breakfast from there, and also would pop in and out for drinks. We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed my stay. It was conveniently located and the views fit my needs for content creation. I will be staying again.

Every staff we interacted with were cheerful, kind, and polite. The hotel and both restaurants were clean and staff was accommodating. The hotel is within convenience to many stores, restaurants, and attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

The Wit is a lovely hotel in and of itself. However, what the Wit really has to offer is the phenomenal staff! It is rare these days to find even one person in hospitality who shows they care, but from the first moment on, we were wowed with every interaction we had. At the front desk, Ronnie was immediately welcoming. Her kindness and spirit never wavered throughout the visit, and her genuinely caring nature shined day and night, no matter the circumstance. Nathan, at concierge, was a joy. His can-do attitude and patience was not overlooked, and again, a joy of spirit was appreciated and noticed. At the door, Hector was, I believe, the embodiment of what any hotel manager or owner would want to see. His purely joyful energy permeated, and I would challenge anyone to even attempt a sour moment with him at the entrance. In State and Lake, the lobby bar and grill, Mario shined as a star as well, with easy conversation and pride in his work. There were many others amongst the staff with cheerful nature and a fast smile, from the housekeeping staff to the hosts, servers, and bartenders, as well as other front desk personnel. I can highly recommend this hotel. The building itself is fine, the rooms acceptable, and everything was well-maintained and clean, from windows to floors and everything in between. What really stood out was the long forgotten spirit of hospitality that simply and seamlessly existed as if by nature from their well-picked staff.

The Wit was very nice and clean. I loved our room and the hotel was very quiet and comfortable.

The brown line El stop was next door which was nice. River front across the street. Food was average at hotel bar/restaurant.

The property and room were extremely clean; however, our air conditioning turned off during the middle of the night, making our room extremely uncomfortable until it turned back on in the morning.

Location location location! The Theater is steps away, the Bean is walkable, Navy Pier is a short drive, and it’s close to the Blue Line to get back to O’Hare. Carrie and Ronnie up front are wonderful, and the rooftop lounge is a whole vibe. And the views are great! You won’t regret this stay!
