Location is excellent -- walking distance from a great region of restaurants, riverside, and downtown. The windows open creating a kind of cross-breeze. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Property is clean but a bit tired. Memory foam mattress is not my first choice, as I find they are hot for sleeping. This is surely personal preference.

- distance from downtown is about 3 km. either you walk or pay a taxi. there’re no restaurants or coffee shops or grocery stores near the premises. - there’s no room service. it’s not a hotel. Actually, you are renting a room. - there’s noone to assist you 24 hours. The employee who lives in the premises is not always there if you need assistance. You remain alone in the house. - the House Key door I was given was not working. when I got there on the second day I rang the bell 3 times (stayed at the porch for about 15 minutes waiting). The employee was there but I guess he was busy and couldn’t answer immediately.

Friendly hosts, lovely view from the window, right on Memorial Dr, so very convenient transportation. Bed was very comfortable. The house itself is gorgeous, big spaces, beautiful light, and custom woodwork everywhere.

The lovely location is also the downside to this room, since there is a little road noise, but not much at night.

Unique property...if you're looking for an alternative to conventional hotels, in a great location with excellent rates, look no further.

Our breakfast was exceptional and we were served in our room.

I was a little surprised it was a "guest house" and not a full hotel, so not what I expected, but it was a very nice place, well laid out, spacious, well built and detailed, so in that sense it did exceed my expectations. I'd be happy to stay again. Owners were kind and very nice, so great overall!!!

Should not be listed as a hotel is more like an airbnb or bed and breakfast. Falsely advertised is a home being lived in poor soundproofing. Hosts were not super accommodating price was not nearly good for the value. I truly thought I was staying in a hotel and I wasn't. Especially not a four-star hotel. Ask for breakfast at 10:00 a.m. got it at 9:40 a.m. small TV could have been more clean.
