Staff was very friendly, helpful

Over priced. I originally booked for a weekday and changed to a weekend, two days later than original booking. Price was over twice the amount.

Deck wasn’t open. They were staining it.

They had a good variety of food, the room was nice.

Staff was amazing, great pool, hot tub and outdoor seating. Spa staff was amazing. Great coffee too! Hotel was very clean and on the more modern side. Close to downtown Galena, Walmart and Culvers around the corner.

Pancake maker broken and Lounge was closed.

Had to call 2 separate days to have the room cleaned and get some fresh towels. The cleaning help does not speak English but showed me an Ipad saying our room was not on the list. Will not stay there again!

First room the TV didn't work. 2nd room no hot water. No local news channel only liberal stations.

Breakfast was good, staff was good, construction was an inconvenience but able to deal with it.

Beds comfortable and breakfast was delicious, loved the pancake making machine! Room was quiet and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Elevator was out of service entire stay and our room was on the 2nd floor. The tub was EXTREMELY slippery when wet, very dangerous.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great with many options, the pool area was nice and we loved the outdoor patio with great views by the pond

No big deal, but the front entrance outside was under minor construction and the hot tub could have been warmer

We have stayed at this hotel for many years now when visiting Galena, IL The staff is always extremely friendly and the rooms are very clean.

We reserve the same suite almost every year. The King Suite on the main floor. We reserve this room because there is a door that leads to the back area where you can sit out and have a smoke or just enjoy the morning sunrise. It makes the experience that much better. When I booked this room nowhere did it say they removed those doors? I paid extra specifically for this suite and didn't get it. Also during our stay, there was so much construction, and on the first day, that's all you heard. Had I known this I would have booked elsewhere.
