Breakfast was great. Room was great. Bar/lounge area was great.
Check in was kind of a mess and there was a charge before arrival although it stated no payment until check in.

The room and pool size and cleanliness, pub, food, music, everything was great. The breakfast was impressive as we did not expect it.
I wish there were more Irish items and decor.

I was surprised so many people gave a good or better review of the breakfast. I found it unacceptable! There was no meat at all and when we inquired about the lack thereof, we were told it was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck and the gravy was bland.
I would never recommend this hotel.

The hot tub was cold as was the pool. The fitness club was very small, equipment was old, water cooler and cups were empty.

Our room was spacious, well lighted and full of information about one of the counties in Ireland which was fun. The bed and conforter were wonderful

The breakfast was excellent. Love this place. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Loved the tea time with scones and cucumber sandwiches. We will be back.

It was our first stay here. Everything exceeded our expectations. Room was very big and very clean. The property is very close to downtown Galena and shuttle service is available which was very handy because parking downtown is scarce or comes at a premium. Attached restaurant was very good, a bit of a wait but was able to go back to the room and wait for a call when seating was ready. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I have no complaints, other then would have preferred the cost be a little less but I'm sure everyone would like that. LOL
