The apartment was spectacular! The location is perfect for all things. The view, proximity to major attractions, very modern amenities and the most gracious and kind hosts! We plan to return to Granada soon and hope to access this property again. As the title says, the perfect home away from home in a magical corner of the world!

The apartment is well situated and within walking distance to the Alhambra, Sacromonte and the Royal Chapel. Our apartment had a nice deck with very nice views of Granada and the Alhambra. The apartment was a little difficult to find. It is a two level apartment with the steps to the second level a little tricky. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, in a well maintained apartment and we were pleased with it.

This apartment is a perfect choice for Granada. It’s close to the Alhambra, restaurants and in a good neighborhood. The Alhambra view is stunning. Our hostess, Victoria is the best. She’s very responsive to all requests and gives great advice. One of the best properties we’ve encountered in our many years of using VRBO.

The apartment was absolutely delightful, comfortable, welcoming, and in a perfect location. It's much nicer than the pictures! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone (as long as you're capable of climbing a couple of flights of stairs. )

A great apartment, spread over two floors, with a generous-sized bathroom, bedroom and lounge. There is also a terrace with unimpeded views of the Alhambra. The host made many offers of help and was free with advice. Recommended for all who can manage steep narrow stairs.

It has a fantastic view of Alhambra! The hostess is very responsive and helpful for almost anything. They even offered to arrange a taxi to pick us on the leaving day. plus bonus: close to all sites.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views!

Loved staying in this cute apartment. The view of Alhambra is breathtaking from the couch, the terrace, even the bed! Very clean. Nice to have two bathrooms in Europe. Mattresses were comfortable. Very close to lots of restaurants, Royal Chapel, etc. We hoofed it up to Alhambra for our tour; it’s not too bad and it’s lovely. Would highly recommend the apartment!

Our great experience began with first communication with Rosa y Victoria. Pre-trip communications were prompt and helpful. Check-in was virtual and easily done. The apartment is just as described with downstairs living area including pull out and also upstairs bedroom. Well furnished bathroom and kitchen including refrigerator and cafe maker. Yes the star of the show is the balcony with perfect Alhambra view. Amazing to sit out early or late to sip a drink and take in the sights. Less need to book an expensive restaurant table when you can do it from your apartment. Daytime temps during our stay were >100F but the apartment has AC that works well. Upon arrival the narrow winding streets may feel like a confusing maze but very quickly you will feel at ease getting where you need to go. Short hike to Mirador San Nicolas, Plaza Larga, San Cristobal - all are uphill. Plaza Nueva is 3 minute walk and has a taxi stand for destinations further away. Airport and train station are both less than 10 euro. Read a guide book to determine what sights you want to see as there are many - Cathedral, Alhambra, shopping districts, caves for Flamenco. Stop along the way for a drink which always has tapas included. There are so many terrific little spots with friendly staff and good service all at a reasonable price. The apartment is well located and the view is wonderful! The living areas are well equipped for a short stay. Be aware there are quite a few steep stairs, but they are manageable. AC works great in hot weather!

I can only agree with the other very positive reviews. The apartment has a wonderful view and different lay-out. Everything was well thought out and we hope to be back sometime in the near future.

April 2022 visit by fit and active couple aged early 60s and we've rented apartments/ homes in 20 cities around the world What to look forward to: 1. Fabulous location -- 2 minutes to Plaza Nueva (with taxi stand) but a world apart -- no crowds of tourists - just some modest food traffic. You are in the Albayzin UNESCO World Heritage site while being without needing to climb up five or six levels of the hill. Central location to walk to restaurants, shops and buses to the Alhambra. 7 or 8 euros taxi to the train station. 2. Fabulous views - Wonderful view of the Alhambra from the upper bedroom and the terrace. While the terrace is narrow, it is certainly adequate for two persons. Southern exposure with sun all day and a retractable awning that allows guest to create their preferred mix of sun and shade. 3. Hosts are super friendly and responsive. Very helpful regarding check-in and some visitor materials in the apartment. 4. Apartment is newly renovated and in great condition. I loved the overhead rain shower. Kitchen is small, but adequately equipped for breakfast, snacks and takeout. What to know before you go: As other reviewers have commented, entry to the apartment is by narrow stairs. We managed just fine, but if you travel with large or very heavy luggage, know that you will need to muscle it up (once) and down (once). I've not stayed anywhere else in the Albayzin, but based on what I've seen, most apartments are going to have stairs between floors. Second, you are staying in the labyrinthian Albayzin quarter -- which is the entire point of selecting this apartment. You will get lost and your GPS will be helpful 95% of the time. If you like to explore, you will be in heaven. If you get impatient, then stay at a hotel. Third, to explore Granada and the Albayzin, be prepared for a lot of stairs while you explore. Again, this is the whole point -- to experience a different, ancient way of life. Fourth, we did not figure out how to fully utilize the wash machine. Suggestion for the hosts would be to provide some simple instructions.

The property had a wonderful deck and view of the Alhambra. Easy access to Plaza Nueva and the rest of Granada. The owner has a lot of information in the apartment about things to do, maps and restaurant recommendations, which is very helpful. A little challenging to locate the property (Google Maps says it is in another location). Bedroom is upstairs from living space/shower with narrow, tight steps so might not be ideal for larger people or people with mobility issues. Only issue we had was temperature control and the electricity going out once (a bit of a process to get it back on involving the fuse box). The attic bedroom seemed to get very hot and we couldn't quite get it adjusted correctly. Otherwise, it was a great home base for our trip to Granada and the views can't be beat. Communication with the owners was excellent.

Loved our stay in Granada! The apartment was clean and well stocked, and Rosa was easy to communicate with. Most outstanding was the location, what a view! Close to the Alahmbra, markets and cathedral. Would highly recommend.

This is a cute two levels apartment in the Albaicin neighborhood with an impressive view of the Alhambra from the upstairs terrace. The owner Victoria was very nice and helpful. All her suggestions for eating and sightseeing were great. The beds were very comfy but it was hard to close your eyes with the night view of the Alhambra right from bed. We will definitely come back when we get a chance.

I would give this apartment 6 stars if I could! I’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this is the best ever. The view of the Alhambra is completely amazing - it’s what you come to Granada for and there is not only a fantastic balcony to admire it from, but it’s right there from every window of the apartment, and even from your bed. The apartment is beautifully set up with everything you need and has so many small thoughtful touches that made it feel like home, rather than a rental. Victoria and Rosa are wonderful hosts. They are so responsive they often reply to emails within a few minutes and Rosa made me feel like I was family rather than a guest. It was a wonderful experience and you could not do better in Granada. Three suggestions for your stay. Unless you are very fit, catch a taxi (€4) or a bus up to the Alhambra for your visit and walk back down afterwards. You will be much less exhausted. The Albaicín is great to walk around but is very steep. Take a trip around Granada on the Hop on Hop off train that goes from Plaza Neuva (3 mins from the apartment) which is great value at €4 for a senior, and then stay on until you get back to the highest point of the Albaicín (stop 5) then get off, admire with view from the top, and spend an hour walking back down to the apartment. Don’t miss the Chapel Royal where Ferdinand and Isabella are buried in their lead coffins and which has wonderful artworks.

Great comms with wonderful Victoria, everything you could need for a fantastic stay in Granada, the apt. is very near to Plaza San Gregorio and the pedestrian path leads down to Elvira where you will find a supermarket to the right, a little further to Calle Colon is a Carrefoure Express. As everyone says--the views from the terrace are superb and we spent many hours enjoying it. Plaza Nueva is at your doorstep and a taxi from main bus station was less than 10euro but do check they are prepared to drive along the small lane or just get one to Plaza Nueva and it`s not too far with your luggage but uphill. Food and drink everywhere you look!

The apartment is in the middle of the old centre of Granada, next to the Arabic quarter, great spot. The apartment itself is comfortable, it only is a pity the shower is on the living room floor instead of the sleeping room floor. Very enjoyable stay though.

The whole process was made very easy by Rosa y Victoria and the apartment is well equipped, clean and very close to everything we wanted to see especially the Alhambra complex of which there are lovely views from the balcony. It was good to relax in the sunshine there and enjoy a night cap before bed. Look no further for a place to stay amazing and I don’t say that very often.

The property was exactly as advertised and was very comfortable. We were easily able to walk everywhere, including the Alhambra, Mirador San Nicholas, and to restaurants and shopping. The views from the property are stunning and the balcony was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast with a view to the Alhambra.

First of all, Victoria was amazing. Because she knew we were celebrating our 25th anniversary on our trip, she greeted us with a bottle of champagne. She then answered any questions we had about where stores were located, best places to check out, etc. The pictures don’t do justice the balcony. With fountain. And retractable awning. And view of the Alhambra to die for. The Alhambra at night is gorgeous—and you can see it from bed. We can’t recommend this rental or Victoria highly enough.
