We could not have asked for better hosts! They were incredible and extremely helpful with it being our first time in Venice. The property was clean, spacious and ideally located to everything we wanted to do. Thanks again for having us!!

Francesca was a fabulous host! She communicated via Whatsapp app. She sent her assistant to meet us at water taxi who was very helpful getting us to the apartment and showing us around the apartment. It's in a nice area and convenient to everything!

This is our third time renting the apartment. We are always pleased with the communication with the host and her support. There was a bit of a problem with one of the showers (drain backup) but I’m sure it will be fixed as the host is very responsive to any issues. I highly recommend this apartment.

Good: - GREAT location 1-2 blocks from Rialto bridge on the side the airport water taxi picks up from. Near Michelin star restaurants, St. Mark’s Square - BIG unit. Comfortable couch and table. Decent kitchen. - Fans, kitchen utensils, extra linen, extra blankets and in-suite laundry - Check-in amazing with host’s assistant meeting us at the nearest dock, giving us restaurant recommendations (amazing pizza place!) and showing us the unit. Things to know: - AC does not work very well; it gets quite warm. Fans help but I’d want to be in a different unit if it were June/July/Aug - Beds are very soft. Not horrible but not great. - Internet is basically unusable and there is little no no cell signal in the place. We tried power cycling modem but it’s a very old DSL circuit that suffers from extreme packet loss. Don’t expect to have the internet work for more than a few min at a time. - There is no dryer only a washer; so we had to air dry stuff. I think this is common in Europe though. - it is in the second floor (3rd floor by US terms; 3 flights of stairs no elevator) not an issue for us but it would be for some.

The flat was as advertised, clean with a great location. Francesea was an excellent host with a smooth check in procedure. The flat was spacious, with a comfortale bed and bathrooms that were nicely appointed. We even received a welcome bottle of wine. Would definitely stay again if ever in Venice.

We loved our location being between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s square. The little restaurant across the street was delicious, and the fellows that ran it were most helpful. We rubbed elbows with several gondoliers at lunch! Franci made all the arrangements for us to get to the airport—very nicely done! We had a great time.

Lots of room, great den with sofa big enough for 4 of us to relax a bit after long days of tourista-ness (the thing we couldn’t get in a hotel). AC worked great and plenty of fans if you need a breeze. View over the street was super fun; could open windows and watch the world walk by. Loved the lavazza espresso maker. Beds comfy. One bathroom is en suite, the other is not. One shower in the en suite, one tub with a spray handle in the other bathroom. Host was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp (essential for European travel these days) and very responsive. Place is a little hard to find the first time because the door for the building is down a narrow alley, but host had someone meet us at the dock at Rialto to walk us to the place (less than 5 min walk). Easy walk to essentially everywhere except Lido and Murano/Burano. It is on the 2nd floor (third floor in the U.S.) so you have to walk your bags up with no elevator. Totally worth it though. We wanted to stay in a real “home” instead of hotel and it was perfect for that, though larger than most apartments in Venice I suspect. Multiple VRBO properties in the building and buildings around it (I’ve read Venice is 50% tourist housing at this point). We never saw anyone else in the building in four days, so very quiet. We could easily walk back and take breaks at the condo before heading out for dinner or evening events. Highly recommend! Only issue is the safe didn’t work because last guest left it locked.

Specious flat in Venice right in the heart of the city. Overall we were happy but did have a challenge with the temperature in the flat. It was very hot over, 100F that week and the property manager did not turn on the AC until 30 min before we arrived. As such the flat was extremely hot even with extra fans the first night. And because they have their system set to turn off during the day, it was also very hot the other night.

The apartment offered everything to make the vacation a success. Location was perfect, would definitely plan a return trip in the future.

Poor air conditioning (filter covered with dust and grime)---Second bedroom's bath was located on other side of the apartment (many steps up and down to reach at night--no night light)------Although a plus in the reviews we never got to meet Francesca, only talked over the phone about toilet and air condition problems.

Great location & great communication with host! For our first trip to Venice, we are very happy with our choice of Vrbo! The place met our needs and was located to everything we wanted to see! Very happy!

My wife, my young-adult son, and I were visiting Venice. The location is great, not too far from the Rialto bridge. It's an easy walk to Piazza San Marco, to a bunch of restaurants and other tourist stuff, and to the Rialto water bus stop. The apartment doesn't have any particular view, but it does have two bedrooms, two baths, a living room for hanging out, and basic kitchen stuff like a microwave, two-burner stove, and a refrigerator. It's reasonably quiet. As a base for seeing Venice easily, it worked really well for us. We are limited to communicating in English, and it was our first time in Venice, but Francesca was easy to deal with and offered useful feedback and advice.

We absolutely loved staying at Tilly’s house near the Rialto bridge! It was so comfortable and convenient to everywhere! It was also very beautifully decorated! Communication with Francesca and her associate was fantastic. We were so happy yo have access to a washing machine as well! We highly recommend this apartment!

This bed and breakfast was so perfect, we had a full kitchen. The host needs to leave instructions on how to use the stove top because everybody does not know how to use a convection stove top. This apartment was spacious and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and it was just steps from the Rialto bridge. It was also a good price. I definitely recommend it and I would stay there again.

The location of the apartment was excellent, close to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. Lots of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, vaperretto, gondoliers, etc all close by. The air conditioning worked for the living/dining area but left the bedrooms very warm even with the use of the supplied fans. Limited toilet paper supplied, and thought that for a 4 night stay, we should not have run out; hand soap and dish soap supplied but no toiletry items. Lots of dishes, glassware etc with microwave and 2 burner stove top that took us a bit to figure out. Francesca responded promptly to our queries. Check in and out was very simple.

This apartment was exactly as listed and actually surpassed our expectations. It is a beautiful space and a great location. It was an easy walk to everything a visitor to Venice would want to see, and close to pastry/coffee, restaurants and everything else we needed. Check in and out were super easy, and the property owner helped us by arranging transportation from the airport and advising us on how best to get to the train station when we left. I would stay there again and have already recommended it to friends.

The apartment is exactly like the photos and Francesca is wonderful to work with. She is very attentive and will help with all details. The apartment is a great escape from the busy streets of Venice.

We loved this apartment! Spacious and clean and comfortable, right in the heart of the island, and furnished in beautiful style, it felt like the perfect way to stay in Venice. Especially as it’s accessed through a passageway so skinny you might not even notice it—yet another of the city’s many hidden treasures. We were glad the host sent someone to show us the way and introduce us to the neighborhood and the building. :) Very gracious host with great communication! Grazie molto!

Tillys is exactly as pictured. Beautiful and very clean. The rooms were so spacious and a 5 min walk from Rialto bridge. We only had a short 2 night stay at the end of our trip but I wish we had a few more days at this apartment.
