Beautiful home and set up. Backyard is awesome. Only complaints are that the 2 things we were looking forward to the Pinball Machine and Dart Board we not working. Pinball Machine was broke, and the Darts for the Dart board didn't have tips so the darts would not stick in the board. Kind of a bummer but we made the best of it.

We were gathering for a family memorial and this was the perfect place. Good large space to gather many and lots of indoor and outdoor places to settle for a smaller group chat. Amazing amenities, very comfortable, wonderful room for kids to hang out and have their own cool space.

Absolutely excellent!! We had a family wedding and this home was the perfect location for all functions. The hosts are wonderful and always received a quick response if questions. Seriously can’t say enough good things about this listing. Highly recommend!!

John greeted us on time and graciously gave us a tour. The house was very comfortable and provided more than everything we needed to prepare for a wedding, ironing boards ... to champagne glasses. The groomsman used the downstairs to dress and the garden provided spectacular backdrops for photos of the men. The house is comfortable and it could also be in a magazine. Thanks so much!

Great hosts in a great location. Absolutely loved the backyard and basement entertainment areas. The steam shower was honestly one of the best showers I've ever had. Highly recommended. John and Arnold were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Bonus points for them having a solar setup during a major storm.

Beautiful, quiet property in a nice neighborhood. Kitchen had every appliance and device known to man and refrigerator was well stocked. Even coffee was supplied. We had a great time. We had rain and the firewood got wet so we had to buy some firewood at the Meijer but otherwise everything was perfect!

We spent a week working remotely from the house while enjoying the amenities each evening. The house was great and was exactly what you see in the pics and reviews. Ann Arbor was the perfect location for restaurants and entertainment. The house was large enough for four guys to work on conference calls etc. Plenty of firewood and privacy made the outdoor space an ideal area to wind down each evening.

Ann Arbor fun/old stomping grounds
This was an outstanding place to have an Ann Arbor base camp. Brought two teenagers on a campus tour trip to our old stomping grounds at UM. Chef's delight and home away from home feel. Great layout and attention to detail. Bar/Game floor was ridiculous and led to very competitive challenge night! And the steam-room shower was quite excellent. Outdoor paradise with the Koi pond, covered patio and garden/trail action. Shawn played out some piano man hits for the crew as well. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen -- spices, equipment, even sushi setup! You need to stay here if you are visiting A2 or Irish hills area. Great access to US12 and I94 without being too close to them.

Great time!
A group of six friends stayed for a weekend. We appreciated how close we were to Ann Arbor and the beautiful property. The backyard is beautiful and relaxing by the koi pond. Inside, there are two large fish tanks and a piano. We didn't use the basement much since it was beautiful out, but is as pictured/described. I didn't realize that one of the bedrooms is in the basement while the other two are upstairs. But everyone had a great time and would stay again! The property is definitely set up to be entertaining and relaxing!

Ann Arbor home rental for our son’s wedding
The home is lovely! We stayed in it for our son’s wedding week. And only wish we had more free time to enjoy relaxing in the house, and luxuriating in the backyard. The neighborhood is quiet, is in a beautiful area to take long walks, and is close to stores and restaurants. We loved it! Just a beautiful home and gardens, very peaceful and relaxing!

But the defining thing is definitely the cleanliness and attention to detail from the hosts: everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared (little things like unopened and sealed paper towels and sponge left out for us). Communication was A++
They even left some really cool music on to greet us (haha, I shazamed the song that was playing).
The neighborhood is just minutes from core Ann Arbor but is quiet, so was a good fit for us (and all the delivery options - including grocery delivery - were the same awesome selection as central AA).

A gem in Ann Arbor!
This stunning and immaculate home in Ann Arbor was perfect for our winter getaway. My husband and I stayed a week here, with our three teenagers. It was convenient to the downtown, yet in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed during a snowy week in February, and the homeowners were very accommodating. They came over several times to shovel the sidewalk. Although we were snowed in for part of the time, the house had everything we needed to stay relaxed and entertained. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for our cooking adventures. The home was beautifully decorated as well. This is one of the finest homes we have rented!

What a great location for our group of six. We were a short drive from the U of Michigan campus. The home has tremendous outdoor appeal in the backyard, a great man cave with many fun things to do, and a comfortable dwelling with incredible high tech home entertainment devices.

This house is in a great neighborhood and convenient to food and shopping. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities. The real treasure of this house was the basement and the backyard! Nice and Serene between AA and Saline!!
Wonderful clean and quiet location beautifully and artfully decorated with amazing socializing and family gaming accessories and workout equip in the basement. Nice deck off the back facing a private wooded area with a small screen. Backyard has a gazebo with a Koi pond and is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Owners are very kind and attentive to make your stay as best as it can be! Strongly recommended 😊�

Great house, much to do in the basement.... Darts, Pool, Table Shuffleboard, Bar, and Pinball Machine. The kids loved this house. Very close to the University. We really enjoyed our stay.

A Relaxing Sit in Every Room
The main house is clean and very comfortable with all of the amenities of home. The basement offers everything that a family or group of friends would want. From a pool table, darts, shuffleboard, to a bar, steam room and large tv, one could spend hours of enjoyment there. The basement door opens to a large backyard with water fountain, barbecue, and plenty of seating. Couple all of this with a helpful owner that answered all calls, emails, and texts. Lastly, the Big House is short/cheap Uber ride away. Next time I come to Ann Arbor, I will stay here.

Very nice home, very nice people
Thank you to Arnold and John for the use of their beautiful home. We loved feeding the fish and the tranquil feeling of the garden and backyard. When it began to rain we loved playing pin ball, pool and shuffle board - all a part of the basement living/game room. The shower/sauna was fantastic! We were so very pleasantly surprised and it will be our first choice next time we are in A2.
