This place is the perfect getaway. We felt the pictures did not do the property justice, the home and location was gorgeous. An added bonus was the use of the kayaks and paddle board. We brought our dog Malcolm who loved the swimming, and the green space. The house was clean and today, well-equipped, and communication with Tracey was easy. We certainly recommend this as a family stay, a lot of rooms, and comfy beds.

Great property - very clean, easy living with our three little kids. Easy access to the beach and the bach is well equipped with toys - kayaking down the estuary was lots of fun!

I was pregnant for a long nine months and throughout my pregnancy I looked forward to the summer so that I could get away from being pregnant and postpartum blues. We saw this listing on Bookabach and it captured me instantly. The location is perfect with the water at your doorfront and such a lovely and quiet little neighbourhood. The house was perfectly spacious and even though we encountered rainy days the house supplied us with enough inside activities to do. It was a beautiful getaway for us away from the bustling noises of Auckland city and we for sure will be back. The communication of the owners were excellent, we had some hiccups with checkih as well as working the tv on our arrival but they were only a text message and phone call away. They pointed me in the right direction and we sorted it out in no time. The only downside for me personally on this trip was that you had to come prepared. Countdown/New world/Warehouse are 35 minutes drive away. They do have a local dairy in Cooks beach but they don’t have everything so that was the only teeny downside although we didn’t mind the drive to and back but after travelling along time it would suck to forget something at home and drive all the way to shopping. The house came with everything you needed but if there’s something specific you need just bring it in case you have to travel all the way to purchase it. Apart from that I have nothing bad to say about this house and plan on returning again in the near future !

It was excellent. The property itself was clean and well stocked. The location on shore was beautiful. We have a minor issue with the Bbq but that was rectified by the owners. All in all an excellent property to rent.

Great property and location for a family. Could have been a bit cleaner (there was debris under the sofas that hadn't been cleaned). Beds were really comfortable. I know it is winter, but it was quite a cold property. It would have been good to have heaters that could heat the main living space.

It was a lovely property to stay at, had everything we needed and more. Even had books, games snd puzzles for raining days. Great location and neighbourhood, would love to cone back in summer to enjoy the beach which was far. Would definitely stay again👍🏻😊

We booked this property whilst my sister and her kids were visiting us from the UK. A wonderful property to stay at for our family Easter gathering. The property was clean and had everything we needed. So great that the kids could easily access the estuary and take kayaks and paddle board out. Tracey promptly replied to my query about bringing our dogs. I would absolutely recommend this property
