Location is ok, pool in the reception is nice, bed was comfortable, bathrooms and cleanliness ok.

Old and needs renewal. Changed rooms due to impossible noise of AC (like boiling water in a kettle, non stop, coming from vent shaft) and ended up in a room with similar noise and high pitched additional air whistling. I’m not noise sensitive at all, it was just impossible. Staff seemed to be very aware of the problem so wasn’t something “new” just not addressed.

A tastefully decorated hotel at a prime location in Manchester. Comfortable and spacious rooms with everything you need. The decor of the rooms rather gives a 5-star feel, even though this is a 4-star hotel. Superb facilities including a lounge zone, a café, a restaurant and a gym. Last, but not least – their breakfast is quite awesome!

Great hotel close to all amenities 2 minutes from Victoria station. Loved the decor and the rooms have everything you need... hairdryer, iron, tea coffee, mini fridge with complementary water. Lovely restaurant attached. Fantastic breakfast.

You can here the trains beeping a bit but not too loud

The room looked nice however the mini fridge absolutely stank, the bathroom stunk of bad drains which would infiltrate the room. Air con didn’t work and the windows didn’t open. Ruined our anniversary weekend. The TV didn’t work, they have smart TVs without so much as Netflix? I tried to ask the staff what the issue was but got a dialogue on how great the hotels location is?? Poor value for money, you have to book your breakfast slot the night before but they run out of continental options pretty early on 2 star hotel in disguise

Zeer nette kamers en een mooie locatie. Oud gebouw met een zeer goed passend modern deel eraan gebouwd. Ontbijt was zeer goed. Bediening zeer vriendelijk.

Was jammer dat we pasje twee keer moesten laten verversen, om deur open te krijgen en de lift.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. And the hotel is in a perfect location, right in the city centre, close to everything and only a couple of minutes walk from the AO Arena.

Stayed in a suite again and what a disappointment Suite smelt of damp and mould . Flooring was living all over the suite . Massively disappointing as this is our third and worse stay at the hotel . We had this booked again for June however we will be looking for alternative hotels

Brilliant location

The room and bathroom were a bit dusty. The smell in the bathroom was bad. And breakfast is definitely not worth money.

Staff rude! My husband and sons room had blood on the sheet and the bin had Tampax in it clearly not cleaned and staff didn't seem to care

Lovely quirky room. Fab location and great atmosphere in the hotel bar and restaurant.

There was a problem with the room temperature and Sahar in guest services reacted and quickly resolved the issue.

Fantastic location, very friendly staff, beautiful room, very quiet, comfy beds. Delicious food and hearty breakfast. We could ask for nothing more.

The check-in experience took quite some time. We stayed on a half board basis and whilst the food was delicious the choices were few.

The location is very good, close to the centre and just 1-2 min. walk to Victoria station. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The staff were good, especially the reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was alright and we had a good dinner at the restaurant. We were very pleased with our stay and we would certainly stay here again next time we are in Manchester.

Lovely restaurant and staff

We had a fire alarm at 1.30am and a few rooms were on the landing level 4 to evacuate as requested. No access to the stairwell by at least 4 people and no answer on the phone to reception. Another client said it was a false alarm. They goy through reception. But it was very frightening. At checkout we tried the stairs again and they did open. Reception at checkout said maintenence had been out am. It was very worrying 😟

Best hotel in Manchester by far , great value for money and great location for all venues

We arrived by train from Glasgow and were in reception by about 1pm. Although we were early for check-in, Jane arranged for us to get into our room by 130pm which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the breakfasts both mornings; there was a good selection in the buffet section and the hoe meals were very good; the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful.

We found the bedroom (319) rather cold during the day and early evening but, oddly, it got rather warm in the middle of the night. There was insufficient storage space in the room; there was a hanging wardrobe but no drawers for shirts, underwear, etc., only small shelves inside the wardrobe.

Great location for the AO arena and for shopping in central Manchester

Unfortunately the toilet had a leak which covered the bathroom floor. Plummer came straight away, did a temporary fix and said he’d come back and fix it the next day. However he didn’t return to fix it

Hotel well located

We had no television for the whole stay and heating wasn’t working properly. When we checked in we were told only certain channels were working on the TV but nothing was working and we did report this. We have stayed at this hotel before and it was great.

The breakfast in the morning was good, you had a selection of hot food ordered or cold self service. The service at breakfast in the restaurant were good And the room was a good size, and overall look very nice, not loud from exterior noise. Great location, so close to the city centre yet tucked away enough.

Poor service from staff members, first day arrived they knew I paid for two days. Proceed and said our check out time was the next day at 11am, no I paid for two. So 11am the next day we was locked out our room, and had to tell them we are staying for two not one night. Ordered room service on the first night, never arrived. Called after one hour, waited another hour then called again. Did not receive our room service the whole stay. And when told at the desk when we left all they said was “oh” and did nothing else. Overall service is awful. Some towels received weren’t clean and same with cups in the room.
