Ein sonniges und freundliches Zuhause in der Nähe des Natural Bridges State Park. Willkommen im Mitchell's Cove Beach House an der sonnigen Westseite von Santa Cruz! Das einstöckige, familienfreundliche, sonnige Mitchell's Cove Beach House liegt nur einen kurzen, flachen Block vom nächsten Strand entfernt (siehe Karte). Es bietet einen einladenden Grundriss, 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder und einen privaten, umzäunten Garten einschließlich Terrasse und Whirlpool-Bereich. Der vordere Innenhof ist komplett privat mit Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse und ein ausgezeichneter Ort für morgendlichen Brunch oder abendliche Grillabende. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und zentral gelegen, um einen entspannten Treffpunkt im angrenzenden Wohn- oder Essbereich zu bieten. Ein gemütlicher Gasherd sorgt für einen kühlen Morgen. Vom Essbereich aus betreten Sie das besonders große und helle Familienzimmer, von dem aus Sie auf den schön angelegten Garten und den halbprivaten Whirlpool zugreifen können. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer schafft in kühlen Sommernächten ein schönes Abendambiente. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett verfügt über Terrassentüren, die zum ruhigen Garten und den Geräuschen der nahe gelegenen Monterey Bay führen.

Property was clean and well organized. Games were nice.
Lots of clean towels.
Two comments:
Bathmats in the bathrooms would be nice.
You need a banister for the front steps and an assist bar going into the television room. I am somewhat mobility limited.
House was well worth the price and we would love to come back sometime.

This home is located in a lovely part of Santa Cruz on a very quiet block steps away from the beach. The bedrooms are nicely proportioned. The kitchen and living spaces are well suited for a small group. The bathroom in the master bedroom was outdated and a bit dirty (the bathmat was filthy) and they did not leave toilet paper in that bathroom, but otherwise the house was what was expected.
All that being said, we did experience one major disappointment when we discovered that the hot tub was not functioning. The management team was aware of the hot tub issue as they had a team working on it when we arrived. However, it was never fixed, which we did not learn until we tried using it the next day only to discover that it had no water. The management company never bothered to inform us that the hot tub was not operational and only addressed the matter after we contacted them after departure. An apology for the hot tub not being in service did not come until three communications later (over 48 hours after checkout). And, the financial accommodation for the inconvenience was more of an insult than a recognition of the fact that they were unable to deliver on one of their key amenities.
The house is nice and deserves better from its management team. So, while I do recommend the house itself, do not expect the management team to adequately address issues they are aware of.

The home is located perfectly to easily get to everything in Santa Cruz. It also provides a very comfortable place to hang out. Quiet and well landscaped for hanging out in the back yard or entertaining inside. Hope to come back soon.

We loved our stay in this rental. The house has a great lay out with room to spread out. The front and back yards were a hit. We brought our bikes and it was so easy to access the West Cliff path. We were there on a very stormy day and the power had gone out all day. We had contacted the Property Management to see if there were any lanterns. Someone very nicely drove 3 lanterns to our house. That helped so much!

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Mitchell Cove House in Santa Cruz. We were grandparents, parents and two young children for a total of six. The house is well laid out for children (and adults) with a separate “living room” and “family room” areas. The kitchen and dining areas work well and seated us all comfortably with room for more. The kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. The yard was lovely for gathering and, again, for children. The location was ideal for us; close to Santa Cruz family, a short one block walk to Mitchells Beach and West Cliff Drive. It was also in walking distance to a neat shopping area. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

This is one of the best vacation homes we’ve stayed at! The house is very well kept, and beds and furnishings were really comfortable and clean. We appreciated all the spaces to sit and spread out as a family of five plus one dog, and enjoyed to proximity of the home to many local attractions. Highly recommend!

We came here with two kids to have a relaxing experience after Christmas. It was perfect. The house has a beautiful backyard and the key amenity - a hot tub - which helped us all relax. The location is two blocks from the coast (great for viewing, not for swimming), and there is a playground close by for my youngest. A large tv and playroom kept the kids occupied, and a separate tv-less living room meant I could read and relax in a separate space. I loved the large kitchen. My only complaint is that I messaged the owner twice about bringing a pet, but they never got back to me.
