Location is just beautiful! Cabin was perfect for the two of us

The Hugo cabin was a great place for a quiet getaway in the Black Hills. It had everything we needed and was close to all the activities we wanted to do.

Hugo cabin was perfect for the two of us! The bed was the best ever!! Plenty of hot water for the long showers after walking and seeing everything. Steps may be an issue for people with mobility issues, but we did just fine. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin!!

Cabin was just perfect. The host really knows how to make your stay feel safe and comfortable. Words and pictures can't express how it looks. If ever back in SD, the wife and I are definitely staying in a cabin from there again. Thank you for the perfect stay.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this property. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I booked it because of it's proximity to the Main Street of Keystone. It's very close, yet is also remote. We loved the camp fire and the best surprise was that the host left the makings for S'mores!!! We felt like we were camping! I did cook dinner one night in the cabin and had plenty of kitchen supplies for cutting and cooking.

Clean and peaceful. Owners are very accommodating. Wife absolutely oved the soaking tub. Will definately stay here again

The location of the property to towns and activities is perfect. You are staying in the hills yet you don't have to drive an hour to do things. The property itself was very clean and picked up. The cabins are nicely spaced apart. The pool was a nice addition for the littles. There was a couple of maintenance things in the cabin that really could use attention. And I know from reading other reviews that these things are not new. The toilet is not attached to the floor well at all, it rocks all over every time you sit. The faucet handle in the bathroom is not attached and come off every time you try to use it unless you are very careful. The cabin was so-so clean when we arrived. There were crumbs on the counter and floor. The cabin is well equipped to be able to make food. Oh yeah, the outside grill. We straight up had a grease fire the first night in the grill. No one had ever cleaned out the grease tray. The grill was up against the cabin. If we had not been attentive, that situation could have been very bad. Cleaning the grill should be part of regular maintenace of the cabins.

We had a great time at this little cabin in the woods. It is far enough away from neighboring cabins, but not so far that you won't be able to hear them. If you're looking to be absolutely secluded, this is not the place. It was a little comforting having others not far away though! The room was the perfect size for 2, with little to no room to spare for another adult guest, even though there is another bed. The property was super clean when we arrived and the check-in process was a breeze. Two negative points: the toilet was loose when we arrived, so whenever we sat on it it moved forward. We could have contacted the owners but didn't since it wasn't a big deal, but maybe this should be checked in the future. Other negative point is the fire pit on site was very weirdly constructed in a way that made it hard to use. We could not get a very good fire going while we were there, so maybe look into purchasing a more traditional pit! Other than that, this place was great :)
