The staff were amazing. Courtesy drinks provided for problems encountered via booking directly and during our stay. The desserts on the menu are fabulous. Breakfasts are good. Comfortable beds. Good view of golf course

Price quoted directly from hotel didn`t match price when we went to book 2 days later. £100 more. So saved money booking with booking.com Elderly father got looked in bathroom because of old malfunctioning locks on door. Glad he didn`t travel alone. Only one room key between 2 people. Check in times were later than advertised on booking.com 1st room given over looked rubbish bins at the back with broken window, not the golf course. Some of the main meals were quality poor for the price

We liked the early check in which was good.

We would have been liked to have been told if spa facilities were available. As we would have used them otherwise.

For us it is a good location, it is in a quiet location, short walk to a few pubs

Pretty tired out hotel. Unable to turn down water temp on shower, cold tap in sink almost impossible to turn off, everything needs updating, breakfast Ok but breakfast room old and tired. We had room 101 right above service door for staff to kitchen, clunked away from 0600hrs.

Room allocated was overlooking the bin area and the bottles were emptied at 1.20AM which is unacceptable. Breakfast was plentiful but one of the toasters only 1\2 worked. The lift worked when we arrived but did not later in the evening and in the morning. Being on the 3rd floor that meant carrying suitcases downstairs on departure. The reception staff didn't seem interested when we left

Food was very good at a reasonable price. All the staff were friendly and very efficient in their jobs and we were made very welcome. If I was looking to criticise something then the room wasn't air-conditioned. The window only opened 3 or 4 inches, which I guess is a H&S requirement, but given the exceptional temperatures we are currently experiencing, made the room rather warm but a fan was provided and it shouldn't put anyone off from booking this hotel.

Other than the warm room then I was very happy with our stay.
