CLeanliness and location. Staff was nice too. Nice Courtyard to look out into from room #7 but also everything echoes because the courtyard is so small.
You are not given a key for the front door of the hotel so you have to ring a doorbell that can be heard throughout the hotel so you hear that every time someone comes to the front door no matter what time it is. Since they give us a room key then they should give a key or some way to come and not disturb everyone else in the hotel each time. Lots of doorbell rings. The bed had a plastic type moisture bad that didnt breathe on top of 2 mattress pads. Not sure why need all of those things. The Plaza 1 block away has a bell tower and it rings starting at 7:30am and also in the evening. The coffee was very watery each morning.

Beautiful building with lovely layout. First class bathroom.
I wish they had heat in the bedrooms. Having coffee or tea available would be good. a few cushions would be good on the outdoor furniture.

It is more than a “hotel”, it is a beautiful mansion that is like an art museum. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything is gorgeous, the fine linens, the grounds, and the Jr. suite had a fireplace and many open windows with spectacular views of the mountain. It is a very quiet retreat from the world. The welcome was very gracious also.
Everything was absolutely perfect, we did not want to leave. But you must know this is a tiny town, with little to do. But, they have a gourmet restaurant that has received awards that is not to be missed!

when the power went off (not their fault) no flashlights, generator, or candles available. The rocky pathway to the hotel is hard to walk on when it’s wet.

What a nice place to stay the night. Room was spacious, comfortable beds, clean, 2 nice sitting areas in the garden, coffee with cookies in the morning in the sitting area by the desk, great service, ring the doorbell when you arrive (added security). Would totally recommend this place.

The room was quite large with an excellent selection of SKY entertainment on the SmartTV. We were amazed at how quiet everything was in the village once sundown came along. We were intrigued by the quiet, punctuated only occasionally by a dog's bark or a rooster's crowing. Loved it.

The room was lovely, appeared to be best on property. Appreciated covid precautions.
Hot water in bathroom sink did not work. For me, I wasnt crazy about the marble staircase, as there wasnt a hand railing for all of it.

The view and location were wonderful. The room was comfortable. Appreciate soft linens, having a mini fridge, a nice bathroom and the room was quiet and peaceful.
The staff didn’t know how to run a credit card and upon check in didn’t know how to turn the lights on in a very dark room and left us to figure it out. Simply didn’t align level of service the cost of the room should offer.

Beautiful old building in center of this historic town. very clean. Well decorated
bed was very hard. Almost no water in the bathroom sink so nearly impossible to wash hands. Could not figure out how to get hot water in the shower— i did not enjoy my ice cold shower.
