The location was excellent near to Dubai mall and Dubai opera which we came to watch a show

The entire third floor was closed for renovation so it was loud and noisy all day. They should have informed us when we booked about the construction.

It was spotless, a very centric place, walking distance from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Staff were awesome. On top of that Valet Parking is free.

The room was a bit small.

In the last 12 months I've spent almost 20 nights at Vida Downtown, whenever I travelled for work I used go there and feel at home. That is what made me come back. However, this time has been very different. The place was the same, the room is still nice and the location at the heart of Downtown is still one of the best.

However, in January 2024 the hotel has been acquired by Marriot Bonvoy and although they almost have not changed anything (e.g. same facilities, same staff, same services), it was a completely different experience: - The staff typical welcoming and supportive attitude was substituted by rude attitude, long faces, zero proactivity and several very unpleasant discussions with reception - They are changing systems so there were several accounting errors on our bills (and that's fine), but the staff that did not apologize for it but claimed we had to repay more than once - At the check in late at night, our booking magically disappereared and they wanted to charge us again. After saying that they would have fixed the problem the day after, they chased us and we had to discuss for the whole week about this with them claiming they had no reservation in their system - At check out magically the reservation appeared and they claimed we had to pay 2000 AED (more than 500 Euros) more for taxes that theoretically in our reservation were included Overall, these are normal problems but the attitude of the staff made the whole stay very unpleasant, and if you are paying 400 Euros a night during Ramadam and are a loyal and returning customer, you expect a premium and welcoming experience. Very disappointing and I'll make sure not come back.

Location. Close proximity to Dubai Mall. The service officer (Terry) provided some good service.

Hotel facilities. Taking a shower was challenging. The shower head cannot be adjusted so for a shorter person, the water has to turned on to a low level. The television has no connection even when turned on for 15 minutes. The kettle does not boil. On one day, bath towels and tissue paper were not replenished.

It was a nice hotel, location was perfect across from the Dubai Mall. The breakfast was good and it was a comfortable stay.

There is no "wow" factor about the hotel. I had the King room which was small compared to other king rooms in other hotels for similar value.

bathroom setup is not convenient ( toilet chair, shower, sink and bathtub are totally seperated) the sink water tap is very close to the sink where you can not wash your hands (tight space. in the shower, the shower water spray needs to be adjustable type instead of the existing fixed water jet type.

Breakfast was very good. Location excellent for us.

We booked a Garden View room, but was allocated a room overlooking the road, which was very noisy at night. Our room was promptly changed after our complaint. The garden is just rubble and not really 'under construction'.

Only the stuff and the location is good

The cleaning stuff, they never put clean towels. The pillows were done. change it maybe?

Hotel agréable et confortable, très bien situé près du Burj Khalifa. Parking sous l'hôtel, sans supplément. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Mauvais rapport qualité-prix, sans doute en partie en raison de la période de l'année (fin décembre). Compliqué de parquer sa voiture soi-même dans le parking. Il y a cependant un service de voiturier très efficace. Espace piscine assez étriqué (les photos sont trompeuses).
